An area landmark worth finding. Tucked under the ever-expanding freeway, it can take a bit to get here, but its really worth it.
Friendly and efficient staff. Fabulous views of the falls from the restaurant and the lounge. Upscale menu. I thought the food was worth it.
Had a really great time. Seems like a local hangout as well as a tourist destination.
Had grilled oysters and a salad. Both were delicious. Will definitely eat here again.

Don’t waste time going anywhere but this place when you’re craving carbs in Olympia. Baking is part science, part art, and part the love of both. These folks have all of that going on, every day.

Gardner's has been family owned since 1983 and has proven to be the favorite place to dine in Olympia. Gardner's Executive Chef Dan Keith favors the freshest local and seasonal ingredients. Everything is created from scratch, including soups and sauces to an abundance of desserts. With many local wines offered by the glass or by bottle, you are sure to find that perfect pour for any entrée. We hope you join us soon. Make your reservation by telephone or online at Open Table.
This is our go to restaurant for a special occasion. Food is always wonderful and gourmet. Atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. You can always Converse quietly in a lovely ambiance. Highly recommend.

The Dairy Queen in Tumwater is remodeled, clean and well managed, Yet, it harkens one back to a simpler time, with kids meeting for a shake after classes. Their Blizzards are to die for and they have COKE...yes not awful Pepsi, but American COKE! That mean, you can order a Cheery Coke with your chicken basket or burger and fries. Nom! So glad we still have such family-oriented places in Tumwater!

A couple of years ago, the Bread Peddler expanded from a coffee/croissant storefront type of establishment, to a separate adjoining restaurant, that still has the original storefront component. Individuals that want a meal go to the restaurant, and those want coffee/croissant eat at the storefront area. I went to the restaurant for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the ambiance of a quiet "boutique" style restaurant with dim lighting and excellent service and ample open tables (I went on a Thursday morning). The breakfast menu is small, but exceptionally well put together. It has a French theme (so no standard "ham and eggs with hash browns", but rather nicely prepared and elegant breakfasts. The price was moderate $16 for breakfast and coffee. I would recommend the Bread Peddler to anyone.

We frequent this place and always leave satisfied and happy. The best is the BLT with chicken breast and avocado. They bake everything on site. First rate in every way for a great lunch at very fair prices. True home touch quality.

Don't let the simple restaurant set-up at the side of a small store fool you, this is really exceptional Mexican food. The tamales are amazing--you can take some home for your freezer, and get some home made tortillas while you're at it. The whole menu is great, from soups to wet or dry burritos, it's all good.

Headed into 31 flavors for some tasty refreshment on a hot day. One guy behind the counter was dishing out the ice cream, shakes, pre-ordered cakes, taking cake orders, and keeping positice while the line went out the door.
My ice cream was bomb diggity. Mint chip for the win.

We tried several dishes and most were excellent. We did the 4-course sampler. Seafood appetizer with lemon aioli was a standout. Turkey cutlets with wild berry sauce was a little mushy. The bread was surprisingly disappointing--they should just grab some baguettes at the Bread Peddler. Gnocchi with wild boar was very good. Butternut squash ravioli was over-cooked and could have used more stuffing--they were almost flat--but still delicious. Gelati were perfect, and the chocolate cake with just a hint of chili was great. Wine list was overpriced, but we expected that. Service was attentive and friendly and offered good advice. Would go again for a special occasion.

Looking for something new, decided to try Pellegrino's. Even though we didn't have reservations, they were able to seat us quickly. Felt a little under dressed, didn't know it was Homecoming night, lots of couples in tuxes and gowns. LOL. Even though it was crowded, our waitress was superb. The food was excellent, large portions and reasonably priced. Save room for dessert. Will be back when in the area.
