We've been coming to Fire N Smoke since shortly after they opened and we've never had a bad meal. They follow the current trend in no-frills plating (brown paper on a metal tray) but they offer a great selection of BBQ in both sandwich and larger portions with lots of great sides to choose from. Occasionally you may encounter a line back to the front door. The actual ordering transaction seems to take longer than it should, but once your order is in, your food arrives pretty quickly. Their burnt ends, brisket and BBQ Turkey are my favorites. The baked beans are very good too.

We live far from Bobby's but make a point of visiting when we're in the area. The clean-cut operation, enthusiastic staff and fun atmosphere are the perfect "toppings" to Bobby's delicious frozen custard. I chose a peach sundae and was pleased to enjoy the chunks of fresh, perfectly cut fruit. --Can't wait for our next visit to Bobby's!

Stopped in after a long day of driving I decided to stop in. The staff was preparing to close, the young lady working took the time to make a specific kind of pastry for me. She was very sweet and pleasant. Been there multiple times and never had a bad experience.

We tried Doc's Smokehouse for a to go order of pulled pork and it was very good. The sandwiches each included a side at a very reasonable price.

We have not eaten at a lot of Cracker Barrels, as we prefer local over chain, but I must say this was pretty darn good. Others thought so, too, as we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Service was fast, however, and we were well pleased.

Never will I have bad things to say about the food or service here but on my last visit here I had occasion to use the woman's bathroom. Since they serve quite a few elderly and handicapped customers you would think their bathrooms would be large enough to accommodate a wheelchair or a walker. NOT A CHANCE! Doesn't the health department check this part of the restaurant for adequate service to the disabled? The rooms weren't even big enough to turn around in!

Adding an aditional venue to the St. Louis well know chain was a great addition to Edwardsville. This is a wonderful place for kids &/or grown ups to celebrate a birthday with excellent pizza, salads, and more. As with any pizza, eating in is always better than the carryout. A little extra is that one can purchase their pizza dough to make al kinds of wonderful dishes at home.
Probably best known for their pizza the salads are unmatched.

Alfonzo's is one of my favorite places. The food is always good and my favorite is their salads. Mike, the owner, almost always stops at every table to talk with his customers. He makes us feel really welcome.

If you don't know it's there you could miss it. My friend told me about this place. Very good authentic Mexican food and awesome margaritas. But the sign outside looks like it's a tanning salon so we would have never stopped there if someone hadn't told us what it was. Bgreat food and great service,
