Great restaurant for lunch. I have never been there at any other time and do no know if they are opened for dinner or not. All of the soups and sandwiches I have had were great. It is usually somewhat crowded but that's because it is so good.

Good fast food and desserts in a nice clean restaurant. Fast service and good value. Easy in and out access.

We stopped in for a quick lunch. The entry opens into a very small dining room with a counter separating the kitchen. Our waitress quickly came with menus & took our drink order. The menu offered many items including appetizers, sandwiches, steaks. I chose a shrimp po' boy sandwich with hand cut French fries and my husband had hamburger streak with onion gravy and curly fries. The portions were very generous. My fries were hot and fresh. The po' boy was presented open and lined with crispy fried shrimp, juicy red tomato, lettuce, pickles and tartar sauce on a heated hogey bun. It was very good and enough for 2 so I took half of it home. My husband's hamburger steak was smothered in gravy and occupied more than half of his plate! His curly fries were crispy and appeared to have been battered in a tasty seasoning. He had enjoyed a tossed salad presented first, and unlike me, manned up and cleaned his plate. We want to come back and try their steaks next time.

You ain't full after you leave here, something is wrong with you. I don't know what they do to the chicken to make it "Greek", but it is beyond delicious. The folks running things & the owner are some of the friendliest folks in town.

The pizza is absolutely amazing. Even my crazy picky kids love it. The wings, the salads, the service. It's nice in the fall to sit outside and enjoy it. Hanging out even indoors makes for a fun time. All the servers have been great with the kiddos. It's alwaysfun and we have yet to ever be disappointed with the food.

we've been eating here for years. originally we went of the bbq and that savory meaty brunswick stew. its all we ever even thought about ordering. who we had talked about enroute. whether to get two or skip the stew and get three? i think some of the women folk got burgers. they looked good too. easier to eat in the car they said. but for thereat of us it was a bbq joint with a low and slow attitude and wood smoke in the air. we'd ponder sinking our teeth into thick hunks of smoked pork with a flavorful outside bark on the first bite in near back far as cartersville. were else on earth can you find fried okra as a side in a burger joint featuring bbq? the milkshakes here are creamy testaments to the virtues of clean living with a bent toward thick, suck it thru a straw freeze up your goozle if you go too fast, never been anything ever better to put out the fire dessert treats. we cannot wait to return

Riverbend is a great restaurant overlooking the Flint River. The fried catfish is superb as are the hushpuppies. Be aware this is probably not the place to go if you are counting calories or watching what you eat. Most of the dishes are fried, and they sometimes can be a bit greasy, but overall great flavors, food, and service.

I tried this place for lunch looking for veggies. It offers a buffet along with a menu. I ordered veggies from the menu. They were good and not overly seasoned as you sometimes find in the south, i.e., not too salty. My server was friendly. The place was filled with locals and that's always a good sign. The prices were reasonable and the buffet looked appealing. I would eat here again if in the area.

The Barfields are the owners, and they are active in the community. Beside that, the chicken tenders are half of a chicken breast, and they are delicious. My husband eats his with hot sauce, but I eat mine with honey mustard. I love the steak fries. I also love the fried apples. My friend likes the grilled buffalo tenders. In other words, every one in Thomaston loves something at Big Chic! My thing is Chicken tender s with fries!

Came here for a quick lunch on the weekend with my family. The food was terrible. We had about 5 different servers..although I will say they were all nice and with quick service. We also found a handful of pills underneath our table. It probably wouldn't have bothered me as much if we didn't have three small children. After I told the waitress about it, she said, " Oh, I thought I heard someone drop something earlier!"...??? The prices were decent for lunch..but just not good.
