First I have to say I love eating at diners. The food is usually good and inexpensive. This was a very good place. We went for lunch and I ended up having breakfast. Omelet was ok, but they did get the potatoes just right. They had scrapple which I love and it was great.
I would eat here again.

Pretzel Revolution and Creamery is a fun ice cream and pretzel shop in the Reading PA area. Specialty menu items include 10 flavors of stuffed pretzels, regular soft pretzels and hand cut french fries. We also go to great lengths to have Penn State Creamery Ice Cream shipped in on a weekly basis. Once you've tried the Creamery's ice cream, you won't be able to look at another brand in the same way. In addition to our awesome menu, we have programming on a weekly basis for the entire family. Whether you like magicians, clowns, Disney characters, dance parties, photo booths, or our special pretzel making nights, we have something for everyone at Pretzel Revolution and Creamery.
Wonderful stuffed pretzels! We had the Steak and Cheese stuffed pretzel...tasty and filling! Add their fresh cut french fries for a meal. Do save room for the ice cream. They travel to Penn State to bring back the Creamery Ice Cream. HEAVEN! I had the Peachy Paterno. My husband had the seasonal Apple Cobbler. I can't wait to return to sample all the flavors! They also carry Kreider Farms ice cream which is very good, but it is hard to get past the Creamery fare....

Went here with a colleague who ranted and raved about this place, but Shirley must have taken a sabbatical! Ordered the shrip tacos but no bueno! The stuffed chorizo/sausage mushrooms were good, but I expected more and received very little.
I will have to pass next time!

I love this coffee stop. Everything is so clean and their specialty coffees are the best. Many flavor so for their lattes and espresso is so well made.

Three of us grabbed a quick lunch at the Café Sweet Street recently. The restaurant was pretty crowded but we were lucky enough to find a table with a little patience. The menu is somewhat confusing because it is written on the wall behind the counter and it is sometimes hard to follow.
Our food was very good. In addition to our sandwiches, we split one regular order of fries between the three of us and there were plenty of fries for each of us. The desserts are awesome!
The outdoor pizza oven was not in operation while we were there due to inclement weather. I have heard the pizza is excellent.
The facility is bright and clean. The staff was efficient and friendly.
Café Sweet Street is worth a visit.

My wife and I went to play putt putt at schells. The staff was very nice and the 27 hole mini golf was very challenging and enjoyable. I went here many years ago as a child and now returned as an adult and had just as much fun!

Every time we pass this diner it's always busy and know I know why.
We finally stopped for dinner on a recent Wednesday night and although they were busy, we were able to get a booth without waiting. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. Speaking of, the menu is so large you may have trouble deciding on what to order. We both finally decided on the Chicken Breast and it was delicious. The salad bar offered plenty of choices; the refrigerated plates were a nice unexpected touch!
When we were leaving, we noticed the 'specials' board in the breezeway that we somehow didn't notice on the way in. That night they had offered Shepherd's Pie and we both would've ordered that if we knew about it. I wish our waitress had mentioned the specials, but we'll remember to check them out the next time we dine here.
They did a beautiful job on the remodel; everything is shiny and bright. And spotlessly clean. The service was excellent, prices are reasonable, portions are large. Can't wait to come back!
