We had a wonderful meal, we each selected something different and loved everything. Nice friendly atmosphere, they are only open a few evenings so call and make reservations. Window seats are nice.
Warning the food is very basic at lunch time, do not expect the same standard! Must be a diffident cook!
The tomato soup was sickly rather than savory.

This coffee house is truly exceptional! The inside is beautiful and welcoming, the service is phenomenal, and the coffee is some of the best I have ever had! You must visit this place when coming to or around Tarboro! I love their iced vanilla and caramel coffee. Their hot coffee is amazing too and you must try some of their fresh baked goods.

Want real pizza? The kind with a thin crispy chewy crust, tangy sauce and abundant toppings. Then Mama's is the place to go. Need a salad? Got that too. They offer a diverse selection of pasta and sauces. My favorites are eggplant parma and puttanesca with angel hair pasta.

Have been here several times for lunch. Usually get the all you can eat and never disappoints. They have the best friend chicken! Everything on their menu is very good and so is the service.

Stopped here for lunch on our way home from a weekend in OBX. Other reviewers who raved about the customer service were correct- the servers were friendly and quick. Very busy at lunchtime and a lot of the customers seemed to be "regulars". Would go back- highly recommend the gravy fries! Yum!

While we were looking for a BBQ place, this restaurant had a but of everything...and all7of us found something different and equally delicious!!! From BBQ to fried chicken to shrimp and hamburger steak, it was all so good!!!
Now one noteworthy thing to try is their onion rings!!! These are house made and not overly battered!!! They had a wonderful flavor that left you wanting more!
Service was excellent and the owner made sure to come out personally to apologize for the distribution of lunches vs the time extension....he rectified the situation and it was refreshing to see an owner take such care.
In highly recommend this little bit of heaven to any passers-by!!

La Fiesta is one of my most favorite restaurants in town and outside of having great Mexican cuisine they have exceptional service! The folks here are always very friendly and hospitable! I love their nachos! My company orders takeout from them often and they are always super fast!

Southern Chic
As of Monday, September 14, 2015, Addie's is closed. The sign on their door says that they hope to relocate and reopen soon, but it is currently closed.

A friend suggested this place for lunch. This place is obviously popular with the happy locals. Very friendly staff but food was just fair to average for our small group. The prices on everything was very reasonable. The downtown seems a bit depressed but I've seen much worse. Other parts of the town are, for the most part, lovely and every person I spoke to in this beautiful town were upbeat and friendly. I'm hopeful that the friendly folks and architecture will cause new industry to take a chance. I want to return to try the other restaurants.
