We dined at lunchtime, just before they closed. The place has a very cozy feel to it even though it’s a pretty large establishment. We sat at the bar which has super comfortable stools and is right near the pizza oven for some extra warmth. The bartender and servers were very nice and made some great suggestions. We both ordered small pizzas which come with a side. My minestrone soup was fabulous and my buddy said his mixed greens were great too. The pizza was amazing. I had a white pizza with Brussels sprouts and homemade sausage. Just the right amount of spice and excellent crust. Craft beer selection was pretty weak but other than that it was wonderful and I’ll certainly return.

next door to Red Roof Inn & Ramada Limited
We've been here twice this fall, on the recommendation of friends. Even my picky relatives enjoyed themselves. We ate down stairs on a very busy Friday night and upstairs on a relatively slow weekday evening. Our meals were well prepared and the service was excellent both times. Our friends were right. We'll definitely be back when we're in an Italian mood.

We had dinner here on a very snowy Wednesday evening before our play at the Civic Center. We parked on the street in front of the Civic Center-and made the very short walk to Pastabilities.
We arrived about 4:30-as we were unsure how the weather would affect driving. We had a seat at the bar and enjoyed a couple Wagner Valley Cloud Bank Hefs. Delicious! We were promptly seated at 5PM when the dining starts for the evening.
We started with the spicy tomato oil with warm bread to dip. As many have commented-it is flat out amazing! We had heard about the Calamari, and it was everything others have said. What we really appreciated, was that the breading was super light-and it did not have that fried taste that most calamari has.
For our dinners we had Chicken Riggies and Spring Ravioli. Both were absolutely heavenly! The Ravioli was very light-so again, not that bogged down heavy feeling that pasta usually brings. We ended the dinner with the Warm Cookie Sundae-delicious!
We sat in the back room, and had no issues with noise whatsoever-but it was a snowy night. No line when we left at 6:30-but I'm sure that was also due to the weather.
We absolutely will return-and highly recommend this Pasta Heaven!!

Dinosaur is the best. All of the meats are mouth-wateringly delicious. What I love about it though is that I can choose two healthy sides. I love the cuke tomato salad, the greens, and the fresh veggies each day. Any review of Dinosaur also has to mention the wait staff who are always great. Don't miss this place!

Don't be fooled by the location--which, if you approach at night, you may wonder where you are going! It is a bit out of the way and attached to a hotel--but IT IS WORTH IT. I loved the steak with pepper sauce. The appetizer of greens is amazing---just fun. If you happen to go on the weekend, you will hear some wonderful blues/jazz played right there next to your table. What a place! Doesn't disappoint!

Tried this place for lunch. It’s a small diner and during lunch it’s super busy. We were seated quickly. Unfortunately we were forgotten about. My friend and I chalked it up to how busy they were. After being there an hour we finally got our food. I had a California tuna melt with sweet potato fries. It was excellent. My friend had veggie quesadilla and he was pleased. For our trouble they comped our meal which was great. I’m willing to try again but not going to hurry back.

I was a traveler who happened upon the Darwin after reading the great reviews. It's a hopping sandwich shop. I picked the fish Po Boy that's offered during lunch. It's a tasty sandwich with a spicy thousand island dressing, sweet pickles on a great roll. It was so good. I can see why the Darwin is a hit with the locals. I did learn that they are closing at their current location in April and reopening at a larger location down the street. You will not be disappointed with this lunch spot. Everyone is treated as a friend and served food that is so good!

Had lunch this Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14, 2018) at Francesca’s Cucina in Syracuse. This restaurant has that Little Italy ambiance, a warm and friendly staff and really good food. Check out the Specials. I had Haddock Francese and my husband had Veal Bolognese with bucatini pasta. Mine was delicious. He really liked the bolognese but couldn’t finish it all. We shared Italian Butter Cake, served warm and topped with house make vanilla ice cream. The dessert was to Die for...
