What a great place to be stranded!! It was 90 degrees outside and our car broke down on the way to our vacation destination in the Smoky Mountains. We pulled into the parking lot of this Dairy Queen to wait for the tow truck. Blizzards and moo lattes made the wait better for everyone! It is a clean restaurant and the staff were very friendly! You will not be disappointed here!

Went to Maloney's after hearing good things about their huge craft beer selection on tap. Funny thing we ended up having Bloody Mary's which were hand mixed and spiced to order and so good we skipped the brews. The French Onion soup was one of the best we've ever had, lots of cheese, onions and very flavorful. For entree had the Chicken Chipotle sandwich and Griled Tuscan Chicken sandwiches, both were excelent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. A nice pub area in front and comfortable dining room in the back. Will definitely be back.

Located in strip mall adjacent to Country Inn & Suites and near Hwy. 19
My 86 year old mother and I had an unfortunate encounter with the store owner. My mom was upset when she noticed her dinnerplate was chipped and broken - she mentioned it to the waiter who directed us to mention to the owner. When we did, the owner got aggressive and defensive - which upset my mother terribly. He showed no respect and in his tirade - told us to call the health dept or the police. For someone 22 years in the business, he showed no respect or appreciation towards his customer.

My wife were beginning our vacation, stopped @ Summersville, WV. Needed someplace to have dinner.
Checked TripAdvisor, we tried Fran's. Good home cooking, nothing fancy just good food, great service and not expensive.
Typical home style dishes, I had the liver & onions. It was very good, sides were home fries and coleslaw, with (I chose corn bread). My wife had chicken breast with bacon and Swiss, very good.
Many people around us had deserts. Looked good, give it a try!

Located directly across the parking area of the LaQuinta is Bob Evans. I walked the short distance there and was seated almost immediately. My server, Dawna, was very congenial to not only me, but the other patrons in that area. She was very expeditious taking my order and bringing my dinner, the knife & fork Turkey. It was very satisfying and delicious. Bob Evans makes the best mashed potatoes!

After being on the road all day the last thing i want is to go out and look for a place to eat. I normally order in . The front desk of the hotel ( Quality Inn ) has their take out menu. I ordered the Chicken Parm. and it arrived about fifteen minutes later. Came with a Greek Salad and garlic bread. Good value and lots of the chicken parm. delicious.
Highly recommend this place for take out. .

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish and sushi in small town Summersville. We had the sashimi, veggie tempura, mango sushi roll, eel roll, and stir fried udon. All were well prepared and we can be tough critics coming from Charlotte. This will be our go to spot when we visit family here!

West Virginia based fast food restaurant featuring biscuits and breakfast all day. Also serving lunch and dinner.
This was an excellent alternative to the norm. Looking for an all day breaky and was told to check this place out. Surprisingly good for a first visit. Had biscuit and gravy with coffees. Staff was nice and attentive. Pricing was good. Service was quick and painless. Thought the biscuits were fresh tasting and gravy was good and plentiful . Decent coffee if your a caffeine hound lol.

My friend and I go here a lot. Their sushi is delicious. There have been very few times I wasn't happy with my food. The staff is excellent and I would recommend to anybody! I love the fire crunch roll and calamari as an appetizer. Yum!

Gino’s Pizza & Spaghetti is one of West Virginia’s most iconic chain restaurants. With 53 locations, we serve authentic pizza and pasta in communities throughout the West Virginia.
Wanted to go there and eat in person but we were tired after a long day of driving so they delivered to the hotel for us. They were pretty fast too. We had a large pizza and some bread sticks and it was quite good. Will make it a point to drop in and east the next time we are there.
