A locally owned Steakhouse with a wide variety of menu options to suite everyone's tastes. Lounge is open late.
Steak was not cooked to order, wait service was poor and the music was so loud you could not converse with the person setting next to you.

This is a relatively new branch location of Gnat's Landing, St. Simon's Island, GA.
Stopped for lunch when we remembered stopping at their other location on St. Simon's. Were seated immediately and our server appeared simultaneously. Ordered the cole slaw bowl and the fried green tomato sandwich. The former was judged to be OK, the sandwich was immense and tasty, but seemed to be bread heavy. The sweet potato fries with blue cheese dressing were as good as we remembered them from St. Simon's. Service was fine, although the earpieces the servers wear seem to affect their ability to hear what their customers are saying, at least in my experience. All in all, our experience was pretty much what we'd expected. Bill, including tax and tip, came to $30. Parking is readily available.

This is your typical little Mexican restaurant. True Mexican food, not Texmex. Loved the salsas, some of which were nice and spicy. I had the traditional chicken street tacos with lots of raw onion, cilantro and salsa. Their refried beans are also great.
This is a very basic establishment, however it is nice and clean. Staff were quick to bring out the food. Would be back if I lived in this town.

Upon arriving to town, I relied on TripAdvisor for recommendations this trip. When I saw the name of this restaurant my mouth immediately began to water. I love shrimp! And surely it would be fresh this close to the coast, right? Boy was it ever! Upon entering, I was greeted by friendly staff. The table had a paper tablecloth which immediately set the mood. I was where I wanted to be. Rachel, my server, gave great recommendations and steered me in the right direction on flavoring. The Whole 9 Yards is the way to go! Delicious and just enough flavor without being too spicy or overpowering. Only regrets? They didn't have margaritas... I should have ordered extra sausage... and if I had worn the bib, it would have completed the awesome experience lol. Thanks for a Top 10 meal in my travels! PS - Thank you for my key lime pie :)

Last time I ate at a McAlister's Deli was in Jacksonville, FL over 5 years ago. I gotta say this was a reminder of why I enjoyed eating there. Had a broccoli and cheese soup with the Italian sandwich. My wife has veggie chili and a ceasar salad. The servers were absolutely kind, the food was awesome, and we plan on coming back during our next trip to Statesboro next Monday.

A friend and I met here for dinner. We were seated quickly and greeted by the staff. Our food was amazing. My friend ordered pork tacos and Mahi Mahi tacos. I had the steak nachos. We were very pleased with our food and the service we received. I will definitely eat here again.

40 East has a cozy, fun location and building, and the menu sounds scrumptious, but the food just doesn't quite live up to the descriptions. Also, the price is high! My husband and I had dinner, and he had drinks, while I had water, and our bill was $180!

Coconut Thai Cuisine owner, Amy, was born in a small South Thailand province, where she absorbed the art of cooking from her family’s restaurant business. She’s proud to have brought the unique techniques and flavors of her home to Statesboro -- she pours her heart and soul into the authentic Thai dishes she serves. Each one, from noodles to fried rice selections to curries, is designed to entice the five taste senses and take you on a culinary adventure. Join us, and enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in our romantic, whimsical space -- we hope you can taste the freshness and love in every bite.
This was once one of the best Thai restaurants I had ever visited-- including visits to Thai restaurants in large U.S. cities and abroad. However, somewhat recently it changed ownership and at least some of the dishes have totally changed. I was hoping that my first disappointment there was just a fluke, but I've tried it three times since, and these visits confirmed my fear of a negative change. The food is now mediocre at best, the portions seem smaller, and the prices have increased. My last visit included poor service too.

This is a big place (but doesn't feel like it) so even when it is busy you are seated pretty quickly. Fast though not particularly friendly service. Ample portions. Predictably good Anglo-Mexican fare. The salsa is tasty. The restrooms I find usually need servicing.

Service is up to par. Lunch time is a great time. The bean burger is awesome, of course there is nothing wrong with the calzones. Good stop in any time. Thanks for writing a review! Stay Mellow.
