A small and basic restaurant that has been open for decades, nothing more than simple tables and chairs in an old building. It was packed when we went, locals flock to the place but there was some spillover from the nearby campgrounds. Serves traditional southern food, everything we had was good. It was $25 for 2 adults and 2 kids, can't beat that. Oddly enough, they don't take credit cards so bring cash (or a check if you are in state).

I always enjoy stopping here when I travel back and forth down the Mountain Parkway. Very nice staff, quick accurate service, clean and convenient. Just a darn nice experience every time.

We ordered the seafood platter and was shocked by the large amount of food that came heaped on the plate-all fried. It was all good but the large shrimp were fantastic. The service was good-if A waiter other than ours saw a glass empty they refilled it. The service felt like a team effort. Great place- good prices.

The Service is Excellent as is the Food...We all ordered something different. The fresh chips and salsa was Great.. Each one at our table received their own bowl of salsa...Wow...Then our Lunch arrived the presentation was Great ...Great Service... Can't wait to return.. We took photos of each plate, they are posted with this review.....

This place was spic ad span. The lady that helped us was super friendly also. Not a lot to choose from in this town, so irtt was nice to find such a well run place.

Came into to town hungry and looking for grub. Motel clerk praised this place as the only pizza she ever, ever eats. I figured it was just one woman's opinion. Boy was she ever right, this was some of the best pizza pie I have ever had. The crust was thin in the middle but bready and tasty on the rim, the toppings were in excellent proportions and the cheese was great. The sauce seemed too sweet at first taste but was a great match to the other flavors and it all came out wonderfully. When in Stanton, KY this is MY pizza joint.

Best in three counties! Moved from Michigan in November. All the pizza places around here are the chain brand places. We were looking for a family run place. This is the place! It took us several months to find it and now it's the only place we go.

Nice, clean place with a friendly, hometown atmosphere. Good selection, always fresh, clean & delicious! Located in the shell station in clay city, it has a good selection of chips, candy, or a variety of sodas to pair with your sub sandwich, so you aren't tied down to a select variety of snacks like you are in your standard subway shop. All in all, not a fancy sit down restaurant, but subway restaurants never claim to be. Just a good, homey, friendly environment with excellent quality food!
