Our restaurant and tap house cater to the "Beer Geek", but also the business traveler and families that are out to enjoy great food and drink in a comfortable, fun atmosphere. We are located right off of I-5 and Gateway just behind McDonald's.
My wife and I were staying at the very nearby Holiday Inn. We walked to Hop Valley for a late lunch (or was it very early dinner?).
Our server was amazingly helpful. She brought tastings of six different brews. We picked a light IPA. But I don't know that any of their beers enthused me.
Their food, on the other hand was great. Wife had a bowl of chili and part of my large salad. I had the salad and a plate of nachos. I know, not what you might call a meal, but it was just what I wanted. I'd go back, no problem!

Food is good quality Asian fusion. Meals are around $13-20.00. Atmosphere is pleasant and trendy. Nice option for something different.

Pastry cases packed with piles of petit fours, eclairs, creme brulee, lemon bars, cookies and tartlets. Rows of desserts tempt you for a slice: tiramisu, mousse tortes, chocolate silks, fruit and cream pies, and cheesecakes. Another pastry case holds a large assortment of ready to go cakes for any occasion. For breakfast there's an abundance of morning pastries. We also offer products with no dairy, eggs, or animal products; and wheat or gluten free desserts.
Whenever I am in Eugene one of my first stops is Sweet Life Patisserie. My son is Gluten free and is always frustrated at not having many choices when we go out to eat.. That is not the case with Sweet Life. They offer multiple choices in Gluten Free and other absolutely tasty options for food allergy sufferers. The bakery items are all well made, lots of variety and priced reasonably for the quality of items they serve. They have great coffee as well.

If you can just decide which ice cream you want to eat... I had an affogato (espresso with ice cream) the last time and that was delicious. The scoops are pretty big.

Restaurant and brewery in the historic Odd Fellows building at 4th & Main in Springfield serving handcrafted microbrews, wine, cider, classic cocktails and a NW-inspired menu. Featuring a great selection of house-brewed beer with two nitro taps and two cask beer engines pulling cask-conditioned ales.
I dropped by for Brunch on 11/5/17. Parking was ok. There is street parking only so you might have to walk a ways. I had the Smoked Steelhead Eggs Benedict, a Roy Rogers, and a Screwdriver. I was unimpressed with the meal.. The flavors didn't really go well together. Especially the stone ground Polentia. I wound-up eating everything except the Polentia. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the sauce was just ok. The steelhead was over powering. The portions were good. The drinks were good.
For about $28 out-the-door it was average. Given the great reviews this place is given I will come back another time and try something else. But the eggs benedict is out for me.
The staff was friendly and the interior is nice for a pub. With every piece of furniture being hardwood and no carpeting, I bet this place gets pretty loud in the PM's.

A full-service, family friendly restaurant serving Northwest comfort food with a twist.
I live walking distance from here and this place is my favorite go-to for a relatively quick but good-quality bite to eat. The menu is smallish, but varied and the specials are usually amazing. I am ambivalent about posting this good review because it might make the place more crowded and harder for me to get in...

Ciao Pizza was designed to offer the experience of an authentic Italian pizzeria. We serve made from scratch pizza, calzone, and pasta, along with appetizers, soups, salads, and desserts. Most menu items are baked in a classic wood and gas fired stone oven. The beverage menu includes an extensive wine seleciton, beet on tap, as well as bottled beer. The desserts are made by Excelsior's award winning pastry chef "Mama" Milka.
If you are tired of dinning in Corporate “reheat” establishments, this is. Gem!
Excellent food, Exceptional service, Small and Locally owned.
I love the “build your own” pasta options. Six kinds of Pasta, Select from nine sauces, eight Proteins.....and get ready to enjoy perfectly prepared food.
I have never had a meal I didn’t love.

A Northwest favorite since 1960. Our 25 locally owned Elmer's Restaurants take pride in their communities and source local, farm-fresh ingredients.
From my working days, we'd often find an Elmer's near our hotel while on business trips. Great breakfasts always. Good meals for lunch and dinner, I'm sure, but we were usually elsewhere for those.
This Elmer's is close to our Holiday Inn hotel, so it was an easy choice. Our server was efficient and friendly (in that order). Their food was great, and plenty of it. We both (my wife and I) got the marion berry crepes. Yum!! Great coffee too, fresh and strong.

We have always gone to their establishment in Eugene, but fitting 22 people in when everyone else was graduating from the University of Oregon made that a non-starter. We actually ordered all the dishes ahead of time so that we ate family style. The food was plentiful, perfectly prepared, and the service was excellent! What a great place for any event! The staff was very accommodating!
