Serving great American food with a worldly flair, we’re open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 3pm for lunch and 5pm to 9pm for dinner. We also serve a lovely brunch on Sunday from 10am to 3pm and dinner from 5pm to 8pm. The atmosphere is at the same time elegant and casual. The richness and warmth of the hand-planed wood-paneled walls provides a comfortable dining experience that can be enjoyed equally in dressy-casual attire or hiking shorts. We are located in the heart of historic Sperryville, Virginia, 75 miles west of Washington D.C., at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We look forward to serving you soon!
Nice country location in quirky tiny town. Seasonal menu, great wine selection, attaractive decor. The vegetarian ravioli and the mixed green salad were outstanding. The filet mignon with yummy mushroom sauce would have been excellent medium rare, as ordered, instead of medium well, as presented. Hard to fix that, so I didn't fuss..

Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast this morning at Triple Oak... quiche, bagels, torte, locally roasted coffees and assorted snacks... all fantastic! Rappahannock County is lucky to have such a wonderful bakery to call its own.

We were so pleased with our dinner that we felt the need to have the chef sign our menu so that we could put it up on our wall at home with our other memorable dinners. The staff was extremely welcoming and efficient. The portions were substantial and the wine pairings were spot on. Every bite was an pleasant experience. We will be back. This time with friends.

Erik from Oldway Art Center told us about this friendly place and we are glad he did! Really great coffee and a print making studio in the back. Enjoy a good cuppa joe and maybe even buy an etching or notecards.

A Michelin Two Star, Forbes 5 Star, AAA 5 Diamond country house hotel retreat, The Inn at Little Washington presents exquisite American Cuisine with a French influence in a charming and sophisticated dining room. The sumptuous award-winning cuisine is accompanied by a Wine Spectator Grand Award wine cellar with over 2,500 selections.
This is THE spot for your special occasion dinner. The food and the service are both spectacular. I've dined all over the U.S. and in many, many cities around the world, and this is still one of my favorite places. Fortunately for me, it's right in my backyard. It's pricey by most restaurant standards, but you can expect a spectacular experience.

My wife and I stayed at Big Meadows Lodge, which is spectacular. We went downstairs to the Taproom. My wife had a barbecue flatbread, which was tasty and pretty big. I had a salad and wings combo, small salad and five wings, meh. The highlight was the blackberry ice cream pie for dessert, which was great. Our server was sporadic in her attention to us, and to me, the meal was pricey for what we got.

Before & After is a country-chic Espresso & Wine Cafe located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, on Historic Main Street Sperryville. Food is locally sourced, seasonally prepared, and internationally inspired. Every drink is artfully tailored to your preferences. Our market is full of unique wine, food, and apparel. Indoor and outdoor seating is also available.
This little coffee shop is a fantastic place to stop for coffee or food. I was impressed with how much food they offered and will definitely be back for lunch some time. Their location only a short drive away from some of the wineries in the areas makes this a great place to stop. We were there late morning on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table for our short stay, but it was already starting to get crowded when we left, so be mindful. Great atmosphere and beautiful location!

Tula's Restaurant and Bar offers a contemporary American lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch menu. We are a full-service restaurant, with a complete wine, draft beer, and spirits selection. Dining options range from a casual lunch to a full dinner. We feature a private dining room for those interested in hosting larger parties.
The food at Tula's was great -- and very reasonably priced. Maybe the best quesadillas I've ever had (and I've had a lot). The Chopped Salad was also a real winner. All the food was delicious. In addition to the great food, the owner and staff were VERY friendly and the service was great.

Casual dining. Everything is made to order so it is as fresh as possible. Fresh honey wheat bread and brioche rolls made from local bakery. Fresh ground beef from local farm. We offer local craft beers and wines (on/off sales). Our craft beers are available on draft or bottles. Wine available by the glass or bottles. The dining area contains several products from local merchants and artists. Pictures of the surrounding country side, Llama rugs from a local farm, hand crafted pottery and cutting boards, and other items.
My husband and I were staying in Shenandoah National Park and were on our way back to our lodge after hiking Old Rag. We were hungry and looking for a place to eat. We saw the Sperryville Trading Cafe and decided to stop. We were...MoreThank you for visiting our place while you were out here and posting this review. Safe travels and we hope to see you the next time you are visiting Virginia!

We just happened by the Schoolhouse by accident and we were pleasantly surprised. This former schoolhouse has a lot of stuff going for it. Antiques, rugs, gifts, toys , greeting cards (funny and bawdy). Nine Hole golf course and lastly the Pub. The food is wonderful and the portions are large. There was not an open table or seat at the bar for good reason.
