This is a spot we stop by every time we are in ocean city. Prices are reasonable but there is a wait if you show up after 5 pm- I suggest you get there at 4 to avoid a line. This is a bring your own bottle joint, if you want to bring wine or beer it's up to you. They usually have a casserole dish on the menu and they don't "skimp" on the seafood portions. My dish had alot of shrimp and scallops in it. Mostly happy with this place.

This is a definite stop (at least once) whenever we are in Ocean City - there are a few storefront locations on the boardwalk. Absolutely delicious caramel popcorn! Popcorn is also available with additional flavors of cheddar, artisan cheese, peanut, dark chocolate drizzle, classic butter. When getting one of their (few different sizes) ‘Johnson’s tub’, ask for the top to be left open and they will ‘overflow’ the container into the bag of your purchase, getting extra deliciousness to enjoy! Worth the calories! If you bring back your ‘Johnson’s tub’ on a return visit, it is a ‘refill’ and you are not charged for the purchase of another ‘tub’.

They have just about anything to choose from. There lunch and breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Their homemade bread is the best. Best of all, they have an assortment of Italian deserts. This is one of the best café / bakery, call it what you want, in Ocean City, NJ.

An Independent, Incensed Fractured Prune Legacy Store. Hot- Hand made donuts made to order
We got an assortment of a dozen donuts to try. I tried the peanut butter and the Ocean City Sand (cinnamon/sugar) donuts. The peanut butter was a bit disappointing because there wasn't a lot of peanut butter flavor--it was very rich, though, with the chocolate on top. The cinnamon sugar/OC Sand donut was delicious though. It is a bit greasy, as expected with a cake donut, but it was very good. I will be back to try a few other varieties. I hope they will have more selections of yeast donuts and filled donuts that I can try in the future.

The Crab Trap The Finest Seafood Restaurant in Somers Point. In business for over 40+ Years! Family owned & Operated. Voted "Best Seafood Restaurant", "Gold 2009 Press Reader's Poll", Voted "Best Lobster Dinner", "Bronze 2009 Press Reader's Poll" in Somers Point.
We celebrated my brothers 62nd birthday and my Dad's 94th with a lunch @ The Crab Trap; we usually go for dinner. It was similarly as good as our past dinner's have been. Very little has changed; a 50+ year success formula -- fresh seafood served in a timely manner that tastes yum.
There's nothing Michelin * or particularly gourmet in any way at The Crab Trap. (but those crab cakes are simply THE best) However, all of our dishes were deliciously 'good eatin' from the salmon to the fried shrimp & coconut shrimp to pecan crusted cod.
The fact that this restaurant offers more diversity of seafood choices than almost anywhere else is truly amazing.
The Crab Trap looks after their guests and we were most happy to have brought a small cake and have it served w/ a candle + "Happy Birthday" sung by a 1/2 dozen of the servers. A special shout out to Michael, our very attentive waiter.

We are always searching out a new place to eat in OC. OC Surf Cafe came highly recommended. We were there during the brunch/lunch time so we ordered nachos and burritos and tacos. The nachos were delicious. My son and I had tacos and my husband ordered the Hurricane Sandy burrito. Our tacos and burrito were very dry and the flour tortilla shells were hard as rocks. I ate the shrimp out of the taco. My husband had to dump a lot of salsa in his burrito to make it edible. The interior is very clean and funky. The service is very good. I don't think they deserve the #1 spot for places to eat in OC. There are many other places, especially Mexican and Greek, that are better. (Red's jersey Mex and Yianni's are very good choices)

I've eaten Shriver's taffy and fudge since the 1960s. The quality remains high, and they have a variety of great house-made candy beyond fudge and taffy. I am partial to their chocolate covered marshmallows, Jordan almonds, jelly slices, and candied ginger. Plus there are lots of old-fashioned brands they offer. They ship too. There are historic photos with explanations on the walls throughout the store, showing earlier phases of the store(s) and boardwalk.

We came here twice because we loved it so much: once for dinner, another time for breakfast. The food was great and my mom loved the coffee. I'm don't drink coffee but my mom really liked all the different kinds they had available. Would 100% come back.
