We were passing through and stopped here for a quick breakfast around 830am on a Thursday. I was surprised at how small the place actually was. There are 3 or 4 tables for seating. Basically you place your order at the counter and take your food to go! We arrived and were second in line to order, service was quick and friendly. We actually grabbed a table to sit at and eat our sandwiches. I got the bacon, egg and cheese and my husband got the sausage, egg and cheese - they were delicious!! While we were sitting there, people just continued to come in, the line was out to the door!!! I’m pretty sure this is a local favorite!!!!

Second visit here.Wasn't impressed the first time, and less impressed this time. Just average seafood, nothing special at all. And they make such a big deal about wether you have reservations or not, when the restaurant is EMPTY. There's equally good seafood in this area........maybe you should give others a try too.

It is now called Charlie's and Uncle Mikes at the Dairy Sweet. They have 24 Flavors of Soft Serve Ice Cream. We tried 4 different flavors and they were all good. The service was very friendly and it was very clean. It is still just a small town dive, but it is head & shoulders above the old ownership.

Stop here to visit with clients. Place is quiet and conducive to meet friends or business meetings. Coffee, Doughnuts or sandwiches always great.

Called in here mid afternoon with friends who visit often. It wasn't busy but we were served by a young waiter ( oh god have i reached that age where anyone under 30 is young? i'm not 50 for another 4 weeks) who was attentive and was concerned that we had good food and an enjoyable experience. I had scallops which were cooked perfectly and delicious garlic mash the atmosphere was relaxed. The food was fresh and good. The place began to get busy later as a band was scheduled to play. I could have stayed here longer and was very much temped by the outdoor boat bar but i was with some elderly friends and it was time to leave.

Not a place to sit down and have lunch. But their sandwiches are first rate. Always fresh ingredients with good chicken and soup also. But this is a take out place only. Not lots of parking, but enough for the Mom & Pop convenience store it is. Even a place to tie up your horse out back. Very Very good sandwiches.

Stopped on my way through the area. I sat at the bar and was handed a beer menu. Several local beers to choose from. Ordered the pot roast and was not disappointed. Not you mother's pot roast... much better. A hunk of beef that fell apart surrounded by whole fresh root vegetables. The bar area was a little raucous but bearable.

This location, next to Subway in the Acme shopping Center needs a makeover of unattentive employees who goof around and are discourteous, and a cleaning of premises. Garbage, weeds growing out of curb/sidewalk, cigarette butts...YECH. Go the Dunkin Donuts by Food Lion just down the road where the staff is quick, friendly, courteous and the premises are spotless.

Recent weeknight dinner was delicious and the beer was excellent too. Real English/Irish type sausages (bangers) with hardy mashed potatoes. Beautifully prepared and delicious. Service was a little uneven - salad was presented with the hot food and went uneaten as a result - I was too full to event think about it. .

The pasta was good, priced well and portioned on the larger side. The meatballs taste like meat not fillers and spice. The server, Rylee, was sweet, though busy. They were serving some sort of store bought sheet cake for some special occasion and she brought me and her other customers a complimentary piece. I thought that was an awesome touch. The restaurant is cozy with knick knacks on the walls, red and white checkered table table clothes, though plastic. Lots of locals seem to come here, family, seniors, kids, young couples, etc. Clean, Quick, Friendly, Moderately Priced ($16 for pasta dish). The garlic bread was very garlicky and buttery!
