Authentic German Cuisine & Hospitality Including other International Specialties: Bringing Germany to Sierra Vista, Arizona
This restaurant is the real deal. Everything is prepared fresh and the food is great. A true German experience sans the beer ;)
Food : Highly recommend the potato pancakes, cucumber salad & the hot potato salad. I tired the meatball and gravy.... it was more a meat patty in gravy and tasted great. Out table tried the Schnitzel, Bavarian sausages and sandwiches. Everything tasted yummy. The mustard, horseradish dip and apple sauce are all wonderful add ons.
Service : Very friendly staff. Looked like they were under staffed and things were a bit slow. Our waitress did tell us upfront that food will arrive slow, which was appreciated. Very attentive inspite of the restaurant being full with folks waiting.
Ambience : A quaint lil place with a small private dining area as well. I was thankful for making a reservation. The restaurant gets busy for lunch and dinner, so call ahead or be ready to wait. They don’t serve beer or wine yet. Plenty of parking available.
Pricing : Moderate.
Will I return? : Heck yeah! There’s so much more on their menu to try.

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Clearly the menu is very beef oriented . We were there for lunch and were able to share with more than enough for two of us. Crowded. So call ahead at night makes sense

I had read the review on Tripadvisor, so the evening we were looking for good Mexican food, we stopped at La Casita. Although the place was crowded, we were seated immediately. La Casita features a full bar, well decorated, and includes TVs playing sports stations. The TVs didn't have sound on (at least not that we could hear), but the closeness of the tables and busyness of the place made it somewhat loud for those wanting a two-person conversation. Our attentive server brought us chips with a choice of mild salsa, spicy salsa or both (of course!). The spicy salsa especially had a nice flavor, but was quite hot. Interestingly, the chips were set over the candle in the center of the table, keeping the chips nicely warm. I enjoyed the Shrimp Tacos, served with rice, beans with melted cheese on top, limes, a small salsa, and small side of sauce. They were good! My husband ordered the Fiesta Platter - which came with a cheese enchilada, a beef taco, and a choice of one of several other items. He selected the chili relleno. The platter also included rice and beans. We enjoyed our meals, and would certainly return. One interesting feature at La Casita is that at the check in/out desk near the restaurant's restaurant, La Casita sells huge Rice Krispies Treats and other sweet goodies.

I have been there only once, but both my husband and I liked what we ordered. It's pretty dumpy, though--not dirty, just frumpy and sort of blah.

We don't have a Culvers where we live so we had to stop to try a butterburger. Ordered butterburger with cheese and all the fixings (cheese, mayonnaise, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato). The burger was good. Fries were the crinkle cut and they were good. We were not familiar with the menu so it took us some time to figure out what we wanted and the girl working the drive thru was patient and nice waiting for us to decide. The burger combo with fries and soda was about $6.50. I don't get why it's called a butterburger though. I thought the bun would taste different than another fast food burger but it didn't.

Stopped for a quick supper before retiring after a long day of work. Sushi available and hand made but did not partake on this occasion. Had a teriyaki chicken rice bowl instead. This was good and it came with a bowl of miso soup. Well worth the stop and will return again.

On my journey to sample the various Mexican restaurants in Sierra Vista I stopped by Rudolf's. I ordered the three chicken taco special. The corn taco shells were hard and crunchy - the way I like them. The chicken however was a little bland. Even with the hot sauce that was supplied, it did not have any kick. Rodolfos had a tub of tortilla chips which you take as much as you want, however the salsas, which came in red or yellow palstic squeeze bottles were mostly empty or at another guests' table. The place was a little dirty as well, wiith many of the tables being dirty. So as far as my quest goes for the best Mexican in Sierra Vista, Rodolfos fell short.
