Great place. They were busy but food was great and served on time and hot. Sat at the bar and Kay and Sandy are hard working gals who do a great job. I’d definitely go back here!

Ran into the Sixth and Main Coffeehouse by accident and decided to see what they had to offer. Upon entering from the street the smell of fresh coffee was just wonderful. The atmosphere is different and I think interesting and unique. There are a number of painting for sale on the walls (I think by local artist) and the menu has a wide variety of drinks to choose from.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. There are sitting chairs in the back where one can relax, drink a hot copy of java and eat a wonderful chocolate cookie.

My husband and I tried this place for date night and LOVED IT! It's not you typical mexican restaurant, it looks clean and modern inside. The food portions are smaller bit the flavor is so much better. The salsa taste fresh and we got guacamole that was yummy! Also, the margaritas are very good! We can't wait to come back : )

We started with the blackberry brie tart appetizer and then had the hot brown and lasagna. Both our entrees and the appetizer were absolutely wonderful. We shared a piece of coconut cream pie and it was well worth getting a bit overstuffed to enjoy. Service couldn't have been more attentive and friendly. We just moved to the area and are delighted to have this fantastic restaurant in our new town.

Family Sports Bar and Grill. Don't call it typical bar food,we serve a full menu from steak to salmon. We serve only 100% Certified Angus Burgers, voted #7 in the state. Our cod is hand cut battered and breaded in house. Most of our dressings and sauces are made in house including our legendary Smoky Tomato. (Take a Bottle home) Our ribs are smoked in house as well.
My family and I stopped here after a day trip to the pumpkin patch. We were starving. We were seated quickly and had yummy piping hot appetizers in no time.
We all ate something a little different and I wasn’t hearing any complaints. My salmon was slightly over cooked but I still ate it all.
I didn’t give it full rating only because my grandson wanted to play games and we found none suited for his age. They were all made to teens to adults or dispensed gum balls which he doesn’t get yet at 4. So the arcade experience for him was a let down.
Overall, good food and service. I’d recommend and go back.

This has been my go-to place for holiday season dinners in the Louisville area for years. In the winter, they have a big comfortable fire in their enormous fireplace, located in the main dining room. All sizes of tables are surrounded by glowing Christmas trees and holiday decor. They even have some big round tables that will seat 8-10 people without pulling tables together. This trip, everything was off. When we arrived, we had to wait (and listen) while the hostess/receptionist/cashier took several phone calls, before she helped seat us. The old wooden dining tables were “naked,” exposing their age and scratches, with no table cloths. The poor waitress apparently had to go to the upstairs bar to get our wine. It took a half hour to take our order. Their famous yeast rolls were served often, but they were strangely dry, as if they had been reheated, although they were served hot. There were only 2 servers, although the dining room was almost full. We were there over an hour before we got our food. Warning: the tomato soup (signature item) was a disgusting, super sweet, brown mess, instead of the usual homemade southern favorite. Everybody sent it back! Why would they keep serving it? The fried chicken breast (another signature dish) was off- color and barely breaded. Terrible. The untrimmed baked country ham included huge chunks of fat! The biscuits fell apart. We left most of our meals on the plate and skipped dessert. Our server tried very hard, so we tipped her well, but there’s something really wrong in the kitchen and in the manager’s office. Probably should close until they fix things or they will lose their regulars. (Would have been one star but gave 2 because our server tried so hard).

A walk back into the old south.
Located in a former women's school( 1800's)' the restaurant setting hasn't changed much over the past 50 years, and many of the wait staff have been there almost as long. The food is old south, ranging from the KY Hot Brown to my favorite , the open face country ham topped with hot pimento cheese. Next door is a great antique/ silver shop- you can spend hours wandering through the several floors of product offering.
Call and check hours of operation depending on the day you will be visiting.
