If you need a little java in this very cute town, this is a good place to get it. Our coffee beverages were really good. Skip the pastries, though: ours tasted like ingredients instead of something that had come together. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Sunday's in Late February and March in New England have been a traditional drive and experience for maple sugar houses. Davenports is in the western part of the state as are many other sugar houses. This has been owned and operated by the original Davenport family. The breakfast is served until 3PM weekends until early April. The menu is usual breakfast fare with a few different things like Finnish Pancakes. The wait was exceptionally long and the food was OK. Nothing special except the inclusion of pure maple sugar products. If you are sensitive to odors and poor ventilation, consider not going inside. The space is small and imagine what your house would smell like with no ventilation and cooking pancake's for hours...
The evaporator is downstairs and the family member tending to it is quit friendly and knowledgeable. A good experience for kids of all ages.
The view from atop that hill is absolutely stunning and worth the drive by itself.

We went without reservations on a Thursday. It was busy and we were able to get a table. The hostess and server were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the pumpkin risotto. My other family members enjoyed the salmon and the meatloaf. The wine by the glass was very good. The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. I can’t wait to eat there again.

New American Gastro pub with 14 foot post and beam ceiling overlooking the Deerfield river in Shelburne Falls. We have ten taps of drought beer and many by the bottle. great wines by the glass list and many by the bottle. We also serve craft cocktails and have an impressive bottle selection.
Based on reviews we came here to celebrate an anniversary dinner. Very short menu of entrees. My wife had the chicken breast with mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy and butternut squash/kale side. She had to salt it (which she never does) to bring out the taste, which was otherwise quite bland. It was a very small portion. On the other hand, I had the eggplant parmigiana which featured locally made mozzarella. It was excellent. It was a humongous portion; had enough left over for a full dinner the next day. Service was friendly but a tad slow. We waited 45 minutes before entrees arrived, and we were the first to be seated. Won't rush to go back.

During a trip in Western Mass we stopped to get a drink and a snack. I am so glad we stopped here. It is very similar to Starbucks, but better. They have great coffee and tea options, snacks and sandwiches. I ordered the iced vanilla chai tea. I took a sip before I put the straw in, just to check it and it was delicious. Unfortunately after I put the straw in, it was a on the sweet side. So if you don't like sweet, let them know. However even on the sweet side, it was the best chai tea I have had, it had such great flavor. The snacks our group shared were the chocolate pound cake and the shortbread with raspberry topping. Both were fresh and out of this world. I felt the prices were very reasonable.

Authentic wood-smoked meats and delicious homemade sides. Outdoor dining, take-out, and catering. Located on the scenic Mohawk Trail (Route 2) in Shelburne, halfway between Greenfield and Shelburne Falls. Open 12-7 Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday Mondays May through October.
Nice hole in the wall bbq stop. Picnic tables to eat on. Outside smoker giving off mouth watering smells. Best bbq ribs we ever had. Staff was great. Prices great. Homemade mac and cheese ok. But this is the place for smoked meats. Ribs chicken pork roast beef. Right next to a Mohawk trail souvenir store. Loved it. Will stop for ribs again on next road trip.

We brew our own beers at our brewery on Hope Street; we bake our own desserts; and our bar and kitchen menu has a variety of meals and appetizers that we hope will satisfy you. Whenever possible we serve organic foods supplied by local growers and producers. Our dishes are oriented around seasonal New England fruits and vegetables supplied by local farmers. Our priority is not only to provide you with fresh drinks and tasty food but to do it with as little waste as possible. You might notice that no disposable plastic and a minimum of paper items will appear on your table. Also, you may be pleased to know that all kitchen and dining room food scraps are composted and all plastic, cardboard, paper, glass and metal is recycled. Our brewery grain is fed to pigs and goats in Gill. As a result, even on our busiest night, we have not disposed of more than one barrel of trash. We hope that the knowledge of your participation in this ongoing act of environmental goodwill enhances the time you spend at The People's Pint.
Wine was great. Had the ribs. Not so great. About a full bottle of BBQ sauce poured on it after cooking. A weird combo of sweet hot in BBQ sauce. I guess I'm spoiled by true southern BBQ. Not a fan of a full bottle of sauce. Their pour size is lovely. Their ice cream is great.

The West End Pub is located in a historic building at the west entrance to the Bridge of Flowers. We serve local beef burgers, seafood, steaks, chicken, sandwiches, vegetarian items, salads and great desserts. Full bar is available. It is a small and popular place with a great view of the Deerfield River and Bridge of Flowers from the dining room. We accept limited reservations for parties of 6 or fewer guests.
This restaurant has a beautiful setting any season, and it measured up this time in spite of it being a disappointing year for foliage. The seasonal quesadilla was a great concept but definitely takes two hands and a napkin to master. Only downer this time was a server whose mind was elsewhere: not so much other tables as a cell phone! Very atypical for a place with capable staff. The restroom is a feature in itself: creative solution to a challenge posed by historic location.
