While traveling from Minneapolis to Oconto, we wanted to stop at a decent place for dinner and online reviews suggest this as a preferred place, so we tried it.
We ordered 1 Veal Parmigiana grinder and 1 Philly Cheese-steak sub and a side of fries. Both of these sandwiches were excellent and the price was less than what a typical Subway would charge, but made with the TLC of a Mom & Pop establishment.
We were amazed by the family / community atmosphere of this place. Most people seemed to know each other and teh servers and yet out of towners like us felt welcome as well. We will definitely be back when passing through that area again!

Locally owned and operated coffeehouse with full espresso bar, four brews daily, breakfast and lunch menu in a relaxing atmosphere. Our specialty is our Latte' of the Day!!
Stopped in for a beverage, stayed and read magazines in comfy chairs while sipping. Also sells books & some miscellaneous items. Staff was friendly. The strip mall the store is in isn't great for quality ambiance, but worth a stop for a change of pace!Thank you for your review. I hope you will stop in again!

Been here for the five dollar lunch special and honestly, now days where can you get a chargrilled burger, fries, drink and dessert for five bucks. Service here is always good and they move pretty quick and your food is prepared fresh to order.
I like to finish my meal with a strawberry sundae and then back to doing what I planned for the day.
Location right on the main drag going trough town so easy access should not give anyone a problem. Drive thru is also offered for those that do not feel like getting out of the vehicle or have little ones with.
Overall, a great meal deal that's hard to match in town.
Enjoy

Cafe may be a generous term - they have seating and serve yourself beverages to go with the baked items they sell.
Donuts are great and made fresh each night. They often sell out by noon but may have some day-old selections as well that are still good. Donuts are not labeled so you have to ask about what the filling is in each one. Donuts and milk are under a dollar while coffee and decorated cookies are over a dollar.
Simple seating under dim light and serve your own coffee with the local paper available. It's a daily hangout for the senior crowd.
Main street parallel parking out front. More parking in back but the back entry isn't obvious.

Having travelled extensively in Mexico - I was pleasantly surprised that this place was surprisingly authentic. Definitely not your usual Mexican food chain ! The salsa with the chips had a good spicy bite, the food was very hot from the kitchen and delicious. There was a minor language barrier mixup on the order (our waiter spoke with a heavy spanish accent) but it was corrected instantly. The margaritas were generous and delicious.
The menu is extensive - so many things to choose from, and combo upon combo worth of options. All the favourites are here.
Didn't try any deserts - we were stuffed from the generous portions.
The decor is even bright and inviting - never expected this in the middle of Wisconsin !

I love the atmosphere of this place and the view from the second floor is great. You can even stop in from your boat at their new dock. The Turkey wary was good and the veggies in it were very fresh. I had coffee from Barundi and was smooth. Highly recommend this place.

We eat here when going through Shawano. The broasted chicken is great. Breakfasts are awesome. The deserts are tasty. Well worth stopping on your way up north. Just a couple minutes off 29.

Bubba’s serves BBQ Meats in the traditional style of Texas. It can be ordered by the pound, 1/2lb. 1/4lb., by plate, in a combo, or even in a sandwich. Quite honestly we can serve it anyway you like! Bubba’s also takes great care in our side dishes as well. They are all made from scratch in our kitchen using Bubba’s secret recipes! In truth there are no secrets here at Bubba’s BBQ Co. We simply make Real Food with Fresh Quality Ingredients. We hope you enjoy our food as much as we enjoy serving it! While we have a full bar serving up specialty beers and our signature Old Fashioned, we invite you to also enjoy our family atmosphere where we have family style seating. This is a Texas tradition to spend time with your friends and neighbors while enjoying a relaxing meal! Feel free to rub elbows with the other guests as we are all at Bubba's BBQ Co. to enjoy great BBQ!
I had my first somewhat disappointing experience at Bubba's over this Father's Day weekend. I met my sister, brother in law and Mom and Dad on Father's Day at around 1:30. With the bad weather on Father's Day and nice weekend weather the day before (and after the lunch rush), I was already expecting that they might be out of a few things. They let us know right away, that they were out of brisket, burgers and coleslaw. We placed orders for a few rib platters and I ordered the Pit Master combo. They even let me double up on the ribs as a part of my combo. Long story short, we later found out that they were also out of ribs. Why the 5 stars? Both of these women were very apologetic and willing to work with us to make it right. Let's just say that we still left very satisfied with the situation. They offered substitutes and more food than we originally ordered. Short of having a power outage, I don't know how this could have been less in their control. I really felt bad for them and their situation. People need to understand that if you have a good BBQ restaurant you WILL run out of food. Even the best BBQ restaurants have this problem, because of the prep time. It takes time to smoke good BBQ! Anyway, great job ladies at making sure your customers still had a pleasant experience. We'll be back!

Classic diner with the classic diner layout which will take you back to the 50’s and 60’s. Everything is home-made with generous portions. Seems like potatoes come with almost every dish. Regulars actually have their own sitting spots on the counter and you could confuse them if you are in their spot!!! Ask the owner Angie for her recommendations on the daily specials!!!

Casual to fine dining. Nostalgic Rock n Roll atmosphere. Full bar with homemade old fashioneds and $2 happy hour. Appetizers, specialty sandwiches and full dinner menu served until 10pm. Live music every weekend. Large group reservations appreciated.
While seeing Friends/Family in Keshena, WI we we were invited to participate in Classic's monthly "Wine Paring Dinner". Our expectations were widely exceeded as the quality of each dish was outstanding and the wine pairings were spot-on and very reasonably priced. The 5 course meal was a reasonable $55 including wine with each dish (we photo of menus below). Each month a different series of dishes are served with new wines pared so you can get a good variety if you are a regular. You can also purchase the featured wines at cost if you like what you taste (delivered during the following months wine paring dinner). We cannot express how fantastic the meal was so you just need to get to Classic's Restaurant and Lounge and try for yourself. We will definitely be back and if we lived locally we would participate each month.
