We've been here a couple times and the staff is always friendly. Wide variety of ice creams and mix-ins. We've tried a couple of their Signature Creations options like GermanChokolateKake and Chocolate Overload and we're always happy! They hand-mix your ice cream, so it stays nice and chunky. I would recommend finding a coupon for buy-one-get-one-free if you can as it can get pricey; but it is really yummy!

Really great Mexican food. So much better than the chains to our family. The selection is really good. We can order very conservative or go all out. We enjoy the staff who is always courteous and right on time with our drinks and food order. Highly recommend this place.

Almost missed this as it is just before the entrance to I95 South. Good thing it was early in the morning or anyone driving behind me would have been upset at my quick turn. The coffee was hot, fresh, and great tasting. The selections were substantial and my wife was pleased that her favorite, sour cream cake donut, was available. The counter staff (1) was very nice and joked about us being the first customers of the day. Can't thing of a better way to perk up for the start of a long drive.

We had a nice dinner here of three tacos and a enchalata plate. And a 1/2 pitcher of Margarettas, which were quite weak.

Almost impossible to understand the person taking the order at the drive thru. Static is terrible over the intercom. Hamburger bun not warm and the cheese over the hum burger not melted. The milkshakes are delicious.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice lunch at Simple Twist while visiting from out of town. Friendly staff, prompt service, clean atmosphere. Lots of patrons sitting at the bar eating lunch. Nice menu, lots of options! Shrimp & Grits, Sandwiches, Burgers, Salads. My husband enjoyed a Cheeseburger with fruit, I enjoyed the Chicken Salad croissant with pasta salad. Good sized portions, tasted good! We would return!

Robbins Nest Restaurant is offers a true taste of the N.C. South! We offer a southern buffet and desserts. We also offer a complete salad bar. We do take reservations for large groups. We are located off Exit 97 on Hwy 95 next to the Days Inn hotel.
The Robbins Nest provides basic fare for very reasonable prices. They push a moderately priced buffet for $9,00. The choices are limited but satisfying and home cooked food is very good. There is also a menu you can order from on an a la carte basis. The room lacks atmosphere- its cavernous with garish lighting like a hospital ward but the staff is very friendly and capable. A lot of the locals eat here which is the best recommendation you can have. Good value, good food.

Normally I don't review places like Dennys cause you go there for a good breakfast and let it go at that but this one deserves special recognition and not in a good way. Went in around 2:00 PM on Sunday after Thanksgiving and the place was packed. It was chaos from the time we were seated till we left. Once seated the waitress told us things were not going good in the kitchen and it would take awhile. An hour later our food arrived and it was good but we passed the time by watching the meltdown in the kitchen and waitresses griping to customers and not keeping the coffee filled while waiting. Customers were walking out after waiting an hour, or more, for their food and some regular telling us that the next exit up the road has a lot more selection of places to eat. We had to attend a wedding near by soon so we just waited it out. Somebody better take charge of that chaos before its too late!!
