Eight of us met for a great dinner here. Service was impeccable. Drinks were ordered and delivered without delay. We ordered appetizer, salads and entrees. We all ordered something different. Everyone seemed pleased and everything looked terrific. My osso bucco was very tasty although a bit salty for my taste.
Everyone stated it was an enjoyable experience. We had separate checks for our 4 couples and they were handled extremely well.
The Orchard never fails to impress us. It will surely impress others as well.

We stopped here on a roadtrip to grab coffee. Eclectically decorated inside with a nice porch. The coffee was fine, nothing amazing. Small selection of snacks. Service was fine. Good location right at a major intersection making it ideal for a quick stop and coffee refill. Average prices.

Food was delicious. All meals are tapas style or small dishes to be shared. Prices are expensive since they all add up but the taste was incredible. Had oysters, mussels, beet salad, avocado salad, lamb and duck. All wonderful.

The menu at The Blind Mule is well traveled with an eclectic variety of cuisine from around the globe and right here in the South, featuring fresh seasonal vegetables, local trout, fish and seafood from the Carolina Coast and natural meats on weekly chalkboard menus Offering soup, salads, sandwiches and daily specials for lunch and farm to table small plates and entrees for dinner. With Lake View!
I read the other reviews which were excellent so I had high hopes. Unfortunately the restaurant was not as good as I expected. I came with my 11-year-old son and my husband and we were all disappointed in the meal. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our son ordered the kid's pasta with marinara and my husband and I had a chicken asiago with pomodoro sauce. The food was very bland and tasteless. We had to add a lot of salt. The "pomodoro" sauce and "marinara" sauce on the kid's meal were clearly the same. The sauce was very watery with some chunks of tomatoes thrown in. The adult dish was also odd in that crunchy green beans and carrots slivers were added to the spaghetti which did not work for the dish. The chicken breast was just mostly flavorless. For a price of $23/plate and a kid's meal of $8 for just noodles, this place was vastly overpriced.
The tomato and gorgonzola appetizer was small, only 3 slices of tomato for about $9. It was unremarkable, but not bad. Honestly, we all liked the bread best which was the "free" part of the meal. I felt bad to have spent so much money when I could have gone elsewhere and had a better meal for the same or less money. We all left hungry. While we will not return, I wish the owners all the best as they clearly put a lot of care in the atmosphere and service, with a real family effort, but the food just missed the mark for us.

So I wanted a quick snack and a drink. We ended up at Mica' s which was recommended by a local friend.
I ordered the wings and fries. Wife shares a shrimp and grits dish.
Wings were to die for. Perfectly crispy..perfwxt heat and the floor was on point. Highly recommend this dish.
As for the other dish...it wasn't as impressive as it's description and presentation. The sauce was overwhelming the dish.
Menu looked good. Diverse and yet had the basic items kids would go for. Beer selection was adequate. Not too many but what was offered was perfect.

This is a basic restaurant with really good food, healthy options-- and good beer.
Fantastic, huge salads. Really good pizza. And yummy sandwiches.
You place your order, choose specific pizza toppings, and order drinks at the counter then the staff brings your meal to the table when ready.
You can eat in the main dining area...
Or on the large porch. Love that area. It has a fireplace and heavy vinyl roll-downs so its warm on cold nights. There's even live music Wednesday nights.
A really fun place to go for lunch or dinner or a casual time out with friends.

If you are new to Cashiers, you will surely miss the Starbucks.
So, yes: THERE IS A STARBUCKS IN CASHIERS.....and it is a good one!
Just past the Crossroads (Highways 64 & 107) on 64 East is Ingles Super Market. This is the top grossing Ingles in the chain and home to an in store genuine Starbucks that greets you as you enter the store entrance on your Right.
There is limited seating behind the kiosk with free wifi and great Starbucks coffee and sandwiches as you would expect.
Engles is open until 10pm daily. There is another coffee spot in Cashiers at the Crossroads called Bucks which is free standing, has great coffee, comfortable seating and covered porch with rocking chairs and free wifi.
Enjoy!

Retail Farmers Market With Many Upscale Gourmet Products. Fresh Baked Breads and Desserts. Fruit Pies Baked Daily. Many Frozen Freshly Made Casseroles. Local Beef and Pork. Fresh Coastal Seafood. On The Side BBQ With Full Take Out Lunch and BBQ Menu.
I loved the market just by itself, as it’s exactly the kind of place you expect and want to visit while in the area. It’s picture perfect. BUT, then I ate lunch at the “On the Side” bbq stand. Y’all...I’m sure it’s all excellent, but I can only review what I ate - The brisket sandwich with western NC sauce. Without exaggeration, and I’ve eaten great bbq in all the big 4 bbq regions, and everywhere in between - this is some of best brisket you’ll ever eat. It’s so tender and packed with flavor you’ll be sad when it’s gone. I was. Eat that bbq!

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The owner served us very cold food. When we asked for the food to be warmed up, she refused, used very inappropriate language in front of our young children, and then refused further service. Other guests that were there were stunned. Seems like the owner was having a bad day, but you can't take it out on your customers.

This has wonderful inside and outside seating options and they do take reservations (recommended). Kind of a funky menu, but something for everyone. Their truffle mac n cheese is AMAZING! So are the lobster lollipops. It's a really cool "hip" place with interesting art.
