First of all, I called to make to make a reservation. The gentleman who answered advised me to just arrive... "we'll take care of you"
So we did....what a mistake!
They sat us in a patio room separate from the dark main dining room where the carpeting is so old, worn out and dirty that you wouldn't catch a roach crawling ! So called over rated "pepper steak" arrived cold. My guests fish was overcooked..crumbling. Very pricey and bland. Really good food is getting harder & harder to find in the U.S.
I would rate this place a big fat "F" to any regular bistro in Paris.
Never again...
It's a shame that the majority of the people in this country have no clue to what fine dining is.

This is my neighborhood joint if I have visitors coming to town. While technically not 100% authentic experience of a real tapas restaurant vs. the ones in Spain, but the dishes are well executed and service has always been great. They have basic options for good wines and allow BYO wine with and without corkage pending on the day of the week. Highly recommend.

If you like snow cones and you like ice cream, here is where they come together. Our friends introduced us to Shave It one day after dinner and we have been going back ever since. Not sure how many flavors they have because they have so many!
Enjoy!

A bakery like similar to this is yet to be created. I actually don't think is possible to even come close.
The guaba and cheese is my favorite, some of my co-workers love the potato balls, chorizo and eggs breakfast sandwich is delicious, plantine balls= rellenitos are also a must.

This place will have some dishes you are familiar with and some not so much. It's all good. Clean, good service and a nice outdoor dining patio makes this place a standout in the neighborhood. Try the sweat crepe, it's delicious with the strawberries, bananas, and is it nutella , and whipped cream. mmmm.

I previously used the to-go service from this location. On our current trip, we actually dined inside. The food quality here is perfect. Everything was seasoned just right. I customized several things when I ordered and it all came out as requested.
The only issue here was that all of the food came out too fast (at the same time). I'd prefer to eat my appetizer before my salad and eat my salad before my entree. We received everything within a few minutes of each other. It seemed very rushed.
I would definitely return here simply for the fact that the food is so good!

Welcome to California Grill! Located just across the street from Whittier College, California Grill has been serving food up "fresh, fast and fun" for more than a decade. It's our pleasure to provide you with a comfortable, family-oriented atmosphere, great service and food to be enjoyed.
California Grill is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. They serve an excellent breakfast (Belgian waffles) and lunch and dinner are excellent also. Love the California BLT and Charlie Melt. The fries are great! Salads are excellent! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend California Grill.

Nice clean restaurant, this place has very good food, we ordered Lechon Desmenusado and Ropa Vieja, the food was excellent with lots of flavor and the people that works there are very friendly, host Roberto and server Wendy were very professional.
Give them a try you wont regret it.

I've had plenty of visits to give a in depth review of this place, I will hold off on giving the bad side (terrible service and blatant favoritism to older guests and Hispanic guests feel free to send me a message if you want more details on this part). Food is always great and thats what you come to a restaurant for? Beans are good, rice is good, chips good, salsa good, and everything else on the menu is good. You won't go wrong if you're hungry. If you want great service maybe look for a different place.
