Driving through on a road trip and went a little out of our way to come here. Totally worth it! This place has fantastic fresh catfish and shrimp, wonderful sides included with every meal and hush puppies to die for. And the staff couldn't be nicer. Might just have to plan another road trip just to come back!

Off Interstate 40, Sallisaw exit
We stopped here as it was right off the expressway. I had their four-cheese cheeseburger combo. It was very good. The combo included fries and a shake (choice of vanilla, chocolate or strawberry). Braum’s shakes are very good. This is a very good and economical place to have lunch. Friendly employees.

Not really a restaraunt. A few baked goods and absolutely awesome specialty coffee drinks. Quaint, "sit and visit with a friend or two", location. Within walking distance from truck parking at walmart.

Good donuts. But everyone is so unfriendly. I know it's morning but they all seem so snotty, unless you know them . I don't want to go there because of their attitudes. The donuts are great. Not much variety of them.

We stopped @ Wild Horse Mountain BBQ after visiting Sequoyah's Cabin. We were a bit unsure because of the remote location, but boy-oh-boy were we glad we stopped. The wait was minimal for our food and drinks had free refills. The beans & brisket were some of the best I've tasted. This is a must stop if you are driving on I-40 or Hwy 59 South around Sallisaw, OK. Well worth the drive.

A little hard to see--behind Braum's. The portion of lasagna was good for the price and the taste was excellent (included bread & salad). The bread was mediocre at best. Traveling on I-40 we happened on this place because we were hungry for Italian. We would return. Service was fine.

When first arrived not sure if we wanted to eat here, outside looked outdated and grounds unappealing. Decide to check it out and so glad we did. The food was great, large servings and friendly staff. A favorite with the locals. Home cooked vegetables and wonderful desserts. We had the chicken and dressing with 3 sides and pie, the cost was just a little over 10.00 dollars, including tax. They serve fried pies but were sold out (a local said they were great and didn't last long) I had the coconut cream pie and it was wonderful.

In town for a jury trial and our local counsel suggested this place. They have a lunch buffet which we all tried. So much food. Fried chicken, chicken livers and gizzards, baked chicken, fried catfish and the list goes on. Wide array of vegetables including tasty pinto beans. The salad bar is decent including a really good broccoli slaw. Dessert was apple cobbler with soft serve ice cream. Truly homemade food. Ever thing was quite good. The catfish, which I never eat unless I'm cooking, was very good. If you hungry this is your place. We were there for lunch and the place was packed, always a good sign.

Ate an early dinner here, not to crowded. Had the dinner specials, came with fried rice and either soup or crab ragoons. Food was fresh, hot and served timely.
Would come back here again.
They just started being open on Saturdays so for now they offer 10% off your ticket.

Catfish dinner comes with 4 good size catfish fillets, hush puppies, coleslaw, & beans. Onion and tomato relish on request. You can order the fish Monday through Thursday as well but it doesn't come with the works as it does on Friday. ((For the more healthy eaters there is grilled fish but know that it does take longer to cook. The grilled chicken salads are out of this world delicious!!))
