Restaurants come & restaurants go, but Hickory Hut remains the best BBQ in Salina. Not a bad thing on the menu, however, I'm partial to the ribs and pulled pork. The staff is always friendly and the dining area is always clean. Whether dine in or drive thru, Hickory Hut cannot be beat.

I am a diabetic and my kids wanted comfort food. We are traveling thru Arkansas. We got to Braums. . I got the spinach strawberry chicken salad. And the boys got burgers. The ice cream is the best I've ever had. I enjoyed our lunch. Thank you! And. They have a yogurt option for side. I really appreciate the menu.

Passing through our hotel recommended Martinellis. We did not expect much for the middle of the country so far from What we considered real Italian. We were shocked! The ambiance was cozy and wait staff classy. We had an Incredible Mushroom Appetizer. The marinara was spot on and entrees did not disappoint. Probably the best Italian we’ve had in a relatively rural area!

We eat at here every time we are in Salina. My husband has been coming here since he was a boy. These little burgers are wonderful! You need to buy several of them and eat them at one of the outdoor tables while they are still hot. Tip- Order at the walk up window or you'll smell like onions the rest of the day!

Hubby and I had been here before and enjoyed pizza and salad so this time we tried the hummus plate and split a basic cheese burger and fries. Excellent also. The hummus was very light and very garlicky but very good and the flat bread was really like the pizza crust and since we LOVE the pizza crust it was a win-win situation and took half of the flatbread home to toast in our toaster oven with melted cheese on top and also excellent. We had given up fries as most places just can't make them but we saw the fries come at the next table and they looked good. Well, they tasted even better! Perfectly done with just the right amount of crispiness and made from fresh NOT frozen potatoes so had great flavor. Loved the burger as it was from fresh beef. Only wish they would give you a real slice of onion rather than a circle or two from the exterior of the onion. Had pepper jack cheese but it needs to be the spicier version as this one was a bit bland but then we LOVE spice so maybe it was just us. Hubby loved the IPA beer and I liked the fact that the waitresses are great about refilling water glasses. Great service with just the right amount of attentiveness. Very clean and everything done from scratch the right way. Highly recommend.

Enjoy incredible food at reasonable prices in a casual atmosphere. Voted Salina's number one steakhouse eight years running, Tucson's Steakhouse has a commitment to old fashioned quality without shortcuts. This Salina classic's obvious specialty is steak and this steakhouse is best known for its in house, hand cut, Certified Angus Beef. Other favorites at this family owned hot spot include Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Smoked Beef Brisket, melt in your mouth Baby Back Ribs and specialty seafood selections.
Exceptional food and service in a top notch restaurant that is NOT a chain. We were just doing a drive by ....needed a place to spend the night and eat a quiet dinner before continuing on to our destination. We “stumbled” into the Tucson because it was bitterly cold and the restaurant was closest to our hotel! We had low expectations. We had been on the road for three days and had suffered through three dinners in small towns. WOW! Again, incredible food and flawless service. “try it; You’ll love it”

The food is good and the service is great. Watching them cook the food is fun. Especially the onion trick they do. A little on the pricier side so more if a once in a while place.

We enjoyed our lunch here. All our food was good. The service here is great. We celebrated a birthday and the staff sang and the birthday person got a complimentary dessert! We’ll be back!

Wonderful restaurant—not that hard to get to, so skip the chains. Clean and comfortable inside; you order your food at the counter and go back to pick it up when it's ready. Really nice staff. Generous portions, great kimchi bar. I recommend the Citron iced tea.
