Wonderful food, great drinks, and really wonderful bread. We went early and had the place to ourselves practically. What a great place!

I saw an ad for this place and decided to visit this town and have a midafternoon lunch. This place is so relaxing, plus customer service (Carrie) is outstanding ! I ordered Beef Stroganoff, garlic bread and lemonade, perfect size, tasty, ate the whole thing....then decided on Turtle Brownie Martini Dessert.....again perfect size, beautifully presented and yum !

First time trying and we loved this place! The restaurant is beautiful with a large menu. I ordered burritos fajitas with chicken. Very good! Ingredients taste fresh and homemade. I love Mexican food and was so pleased with the service and the food. Definitely will be back and will recommend go others!

I visited the white Horse for the first time a few weeks ago. I started with a side salad, the homemade ranch dressing was excellent, probably the best homemade ranch dressing I have ever had! After the salad I tried the walleye and fried brussel sprouts, I wasn't sure to expect but I enjoy trying new things.. The brussel sprouts were to die for! The service was excellent, my soda was never more than half empty.. I can't wait to go back and try the spicy salmon.. This is a must try for locals or visitors. Very unique and selections you will not find elsewhere.

I had it confused earlier with the TapHouse, I think...anyway, I was under the impression it was all ribs....until I was in Kansas City with a coworker who raved about steaks at the Texas Roadhouse! When I went with my roomie, it was very busy, and the atmosphere is very loud. The peanuts on the table are a nice touch, as is the bread basket they bring. That's all hers - not my cup of tea, but a nice touch. I either get a salad and a potato or broccoli and potato, and I go for the 16 oz Ft Worth Ribeye. I took it home - it's alot but a great doggie bag! Cooked to perfection! Service was good. It's crowded and I don't really like to be seated next to a bunch of children, and the line-dancing is mostly heard and not seen. Don't expect intimate conversation here. Eat, enjoy, and go home. Had a good margarita too. Plan on spending what you will on a good steak dinner and you won't be disappointed. Delicious, and a great choice of sides!

Winner of best breakfast in central Minnesota! At Kay's Kitchen we pride ourselves on home cooked food from scratch, fast friendly service, and homemade pie! Our best breakfast is served all day, along with our lunch and dinner options! Be sure to try our lunch buffet!
We were attending a track meet at St. John's and looked on Trip Advisor for a place to eat afterwards and Kay's Kitchen did not disappoint! It is a nice hometown type diner/restaurant with friendly service and good food. I gave it a 4 because the floor was literally covered with food and right behind us was a cart filled with unappetizing dirty dishes. We did the buffet which was OK. I would not get it again but it was good to try it. It had broasted chicken which I couldn't pass up but the gravy looked like glue and not many healthy choices on the salad bar. My husband got the buffet as well and took the ribs which he liked and we both loved the chicken. BUT - what impressed us so much was the food that was carried by our table - the burgers and the breakfast that they serve all day looked AMAZING. So we passed the info on to our son who would be back up that way the next day and he brought his team in after the meet and they all had burgers and tater tots and homemade pie. They said the burgers were incredible and the pie was so good. My son loves french silk pie and said it was better than a certain restaurant chain in MN known for their pies. We will for sure be back - might even make the trip up there just for lunch some lazy day - and will get a burger or a breakfast. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and lots of locals were there. It is a good spot, right on a good corner in town for a good diner.

We're a unique St Cloud Area restaurant in an authentic log cabin nestled along the Sauk River. We are family owned & operated since 1973.
Our Japanese guests were keen to try Anton's famous popovers. With the special nutmeg butter, these are absolutely delicious! We ordered their walleye and a chicken dish, both very good. They substituted plain wild rice for the regular pilaf rice so that our guests could try wild rice (maybe the pilaf would've been more delicious). We sat at a round table a short distance from the big picture window looking out at the ducks and geese. If you're visiting with four or less, you might enjoy sitting in the wagon wheel style booths. There's also seating in an enclosed deck on the second level. The restaurant is filled with historical nicknacks, so if you want to take a step back in time, check out Anton's.

Love the flavors, lots of gluten free items to choose from. I hit the end of the lunch buffet and I was glad to be able to taste a few of their offerings. Really liked the fried vegetables with chickpea batter! Very helpful and friendly staff. Will bring my family here again sometime.

Delicious deli sandwiches, pita pockets, and gyros. I have visited more times than I could count. There is always great service and they provide take-out if you call ahead. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great, local food.
