9/29/17: me and my husband are at DJ’s Northwoods this morning specifically for their Cinnamon Roll French Toast (CRFT) solely based on readers on Trip Adviser posted. We decided to come here & try out for ourselves.
Ruling: delicious! Cin Roll sliced in half, egg batter, cooked gently. Some pieces were so soft & gooey.
Will come again
The gentleman next to me ordered pancakes. They looked like traditional thick pancakes. Both he and his wife said he should have ordered what “we” have. The pancakes were too much for him & he left one untouched. I could tell he was unhappy with his choice. He asked if I’d trade.. not!
Observation. There is a counter seating 6 people. The waitress and male waiter were both happy, easy going not rushed vs haggard at a brkfst place we stopped at yesterday.
We leave tomorrow- hope we stop here on our way out for CRFT again!
I did not watch or pay attn to any other food other than the person across from me who only ate 1 if 2 pancakes. And, he wished he had ordered what I had.
They are closed Wednesday’s

My family loves ice cream. We stopped in after dinner to fulfill their craving. The kids all had waffle cones dipped in chocolate with various ice cream. Everyone was very happy with their treat. I had a root beer float and it was delicious!
This is a cute place with good ice cream, fun candy, and friendly staff.

We go 3 times during our visit to St. Germain's great resort Ritter's Cottages. We love the crullers, muffins and apple fritters. They have really good English muffin bread that makes fantastic toast. Service is always good. They also have WIFI which is helpful.

On the off season, Red Canoe Coffee Co., has a coffee shop in the St. Germain Sentry store. We stopped by on Sat and Sun morning this past weekend and got mocha's and the London Fog Latte. Great coffee and service. The mocha's were just great - right temperature and chocolate. Would also recommend the London Fog Latte's as well. The barista was very friendly as well. Would highly recommend a stop by!!

This is the first time we’ve visited this place, as there’s always a line of people waiting outside! But it is a terrific choice for a North Woods breakfast. Pancakes are in the size-of-your-head range and delicious. “Real” maple syrup is a dollar extra, but a must-have. The banana nut bread French toast was outstanding, and so rich I wasn’t hungry again until supper time. Friendly, efficient service, too - they quickly get and serve your order, but never make you feel rushed.

Green Rich Tea is a place for the community and visitors to come and relax with a tasty cup of tea/coffee and gluten free snacks. We've created a unique space to Wisconsin's Northwoods. Specializing in Japanese green tea and offering the healthy tea culture to everyone. We also carry a full supply of Black teas, Chai, Mate, Rooibos, Oolong, Fruit blends, Herbal blends, Pu-Erh and Blooming teas. The teas range from everyday teas to ultra rare leaves. Also serves Pour-Over Coffees and Espresso Drinks.
We had a bunch of one on one time with the owner on our visit. Each thing she told us about her teas and such were so unique and personal. The tea that she made us was absolutely amazing! We bought several kinds that she helped us pick out. This is a must stop every time we are in the area!

Most of the recipes are from my grandmother. I couldn't be more proud. The potato pancakes are to die for and the homemade applesauce is like none other! Friendly staff. Best way to start the day up there! Great coffee. Fireplace too for chilly days.

Zanzibar ice cream is heavenly, it's smooth, creamy, chocolate heaven. My youngest son loves the banana split with superman, cookie and cream and the zanzibar ice cream. We have been there several times every time Linda was there to take care of us, she is extremely friendly. You are getting large scoops of ice cream. Prices are not bad.

Possibly the best steaks we have ever eaten. I had the 7 oz tenderloin with broiled scallops and my husband had the 10 oz tenderloin. Good salads, good potatoes, good rolls. We arrived at 4pm, right after they opened and waited an hour and a half. Had a delicious old fashioned and visited with several nice couples who were also waiting. Saw at least a dozen groups come in and then leave when they heard of the long wait. So, don't go if you are in a hurry, and I would not recommend going with a large group or impatient children. That said, I plan to go there more often next summer.

We love the Whitetail for dinner. It's adjacent to their golf course so it would be a great stop before or after golfing too. Whenever we're up in the area, we make time to have dinner at the Whitetail. The interior is spacious and well-appointed. With the cathedral ceilings and large beam pine walls, you know you're up north. Antler chandeliers create the just the right amount of lighting. The menu is diverse --- something for everyone. It's a great place to meet friends for lunch or dinner, or have a special night out. Recommend you make a reservation to make sure you don't have to wait. Ample parking is available right outside the front door and no stair steps to navigate.
