We stopped here on our way home from St. Louis. This is the old time family restaurant with very friendly waitresses. We had their special moscatell and a serving of catfish. The pasta was very good but the catfish was nothing special. Glad we tried it.

They did the catering for my daughters reception and it wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best either. The chicken had good flavor but was dry despite being in some sort of broth or sauce, the pasta dish was good, the potatoes were pretty plain. My daughter opted for cupcakes that I thought were pretty dry (like they were made ahead and not kept covered tightly enough) and the icing wasn't that great. Dispite other great reviews they definitely didn't bring their A game.

300 U.S. 50
Union, MO 63084-1934
(636) 584-0180
My wife and I went there for dinner. The service and food were excellent. The site is modest but clean and comfortable. Prices are very reasonable. For some odd reason, they do not have French fries at when we had lunch there on an earlier occasion, and I miss that. I recommend the roast beef dinner.

Restaurant phone number: 636-629-3636. They do not have a website yet.
It's a casual local dining experience. Really, you're in St Clair MO, don't expect too much! This is among the best of the choices for local food & drinks. Recommend the toasted ravioli, a local St Louis area delicacy, the sandwiches are OK, there are some decent beers on the menu. Staff is very friendly and it's never been difficult to get seated.

There are some great bbq restaurants out there, I would consider this more of a country restaurant. No pretense, just good country food and bbq. Sweet tea served in mason jars and good sized bbq portions as well as catfish, giant burgers and frog legs. Try everything.

This quaint, tiny restaurant is nestled in the downtown area of St. Clair. Iron gate, hand-drawn sign out front, Italian flag and outdoor seating, had me excited to try this place out, while away from home. Besides, it was one of only two places in the entire city that caters to non-gluten foodies. I walked into a small entry, and and then into the dining area. The colors were dark, paintings on the wall were great, but the tables were not dressed at all. This place has the potential to be something special, if they would just add some extra touches, like table cloths and candles. (Half way through the meal, the server placed flameless candles on each table.)
The menu was exciting too, but a little pricey. That doesn't matter if the food matches the price, and unfortunately, it fell short. I ordered their kale pesto spaghetti, with a side salad. Salad was not what was described on the menu. It was just an iceberg lettuce mix with a couple of onion slices and a paste of something in the middle - I think artichokes. The vinaigrette was nonexistent. Dressing choices were Ranch or Italian. Hmmm
I was really excited about the Kale Pesto, and they did a good job tossing it into my non-gluten noodles. It just seemed to be missing something. Even a little garnish would have been nice.
The sweet waitress was a little panicked because they had about half of their tables filled, and service was really slow. (I think it was the kitchen that was slow, not the server.) She could have tempted me with a glass of wine, but she never mentioned it. (Missed a sale there!)
I think this place has some great potential, but they need to step it up, if they are going to get really great reviews. The food was ok, but not exciting. The decor needed some special touches, and the kitchen needs to perfect their speed. THEN they might start getting some 5's.

Was in town for my son's wedding. After the rehersal, we diceded to get pizza while we decorated the hall. Ordered 16 pies and they delivered in 35 min. and was piping hot. Cant say enough about the staff and the pride they take in their business!

The food here at this Taco Bell was pretty much the same as at almost every other Taco Bell I've been to, but I do agree that the service was unusually friendly. They have a nice variety (as does every Taco Bell), and the prices were just about what you would expect anywhere else. Although the food quality is not Chipotle, neither are the prices and so this place deserves 4 stars based on value and service friendliness.

This place is super fast and consistently good. I like to order their combination plates that come with pork fried rice and another delicious offering such as sweet and sour chicken or pepper steak and onion (to name only a couple of options). I'm so glad to have a Chinese restaurant nearby that is so good, quick and friendly!
