Rushville is a city in Rushville Township, Rush County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 6,341 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Rush County. It was the campaign headquarters for Wendell Willkie's 1940 presidential campaign against Franklin D. Roosevelt. Willkie is buried in the city's East Hill Cemetery. It, like the county, was named in honor of Dr. Benjamin Rush, who signed the Declaration of Independence.

Truer words never said, as I fell through for an early supper on the way across the Indy/Cinci gauntlet. Fresh warm chips (always my benchmark) and a gringo-mild salsa were immediately placed to table.
I found an interesting specialty burrito, stuffed with beef, chicken, and shrimp, then covered in white cheese and crumbled chorizo topping. A little pricey at $10.89, the size and protein deployment justified. Salsa cheerfully refilled, I was soon on my way, without any later (shall-we-say) repercussions.

Located in the same building as the SPEEDWAY Store/Fuel stop, it's convenient for grabbing the known DQ food & treats. The seating facilities are limited, & the "SoSo" seems that it more oriented to "FAST Service / FAST Food." We found our food to be just average for DQ.

A rural pizza chain that serves pizza, subs, salads, breadsticks, etc. The food is average, but still good (especially in a place where there's not many options). Nice folks working there. You seat yourself, then order from a phone & they bring your items to you (take your cup up to the front counter to get refills). You pay at the front when finished. Nothing special about what you'll order, but a decent stop if you're in the area.

TASTE & SERVICE make beauty of this place. Had the best "homemade" VEGETABLE SOUP, I've had in a long time. The tenderloin, that came with it for $6*, was unsurpassed in flavor. "LOCALS" told me about this place, and they knew what they were talking about.

It was a pleasure to find a restaurant that had ICE CREAM treats, in this small city. Formerly, a DQ, they have meal items, along with a large choice of desserts. We enjoyed the historical display of DQ outfits, displayed of the walls. The soft serve ice cream was excellent, chocolate & vanilla, as was their banana split.

Fried chicken is really good and wife had fried catfish. I would be skeptical about catfish fried outside of the South but this place nailed it. Perfectly cooked. Servings were very plentiful and all was cooked well. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Serves breakfast all day.

All in all this is a good place. They have good pizza and other things. It's reasonably priced and the service is usually good a and fast.

These used to be all over central Indiana. They still have the best French fries around! I stop by and get fries anytime I am in Rushville.

New facility, but very experienced employees. No waiting, no errors in the order. Lots of parking. Very nice and clean facility.
