The only downside to stopping here to eat is that when you leave, you feel like you've stuffed yourself on Thanksgiving. We both got the buffet, but I'm sure ordering from the menu would help with the self restraint. We had a few minutes wait for the table, but it's worth it. They were busy, but kept refilling the buffet containers. There are many things to choose from including meats, veggies, salads, and desserts. If you don't like real food, you should probably stick with McDonalds. I saw people filling containers, so I guess take-out is an option. The server was friendly as was the hostess.

We came here on a bus trip of about forty people. They took us to a back room which appeared to have a stage. Everything was very clean and the food arrived quickly. We had salad and a pesto crusted fish I believe. The food...MoreWe were so glad to have your group here. I will pass along your compliments to our staff.

Smorgasbord buffet, menu dining, and take out meals. Nestled amid the Amish farmlands of Lancaster County, this Mennonite family-owned business features farm fresh meats, poultry, fruits and vegetables from nearby farms and Grandma Smucker's favorite Pennsylvania Dutch recipes. Family-friendly with a Noah's Ark Kids' Buffet and breakfast, lunch and dinner smorgasbords, this local favorite has been a landmark for more than 40 years.
My son and went to Lancaster for a few days for a break. The first place we ate was lunch at this restaurant. We have eaten here many times before and have never been disappointed. They are currently under renovations so the only things to choose from were the soup and salad bar, the deli bar and the hot buffet. We had the full buffet and it was very good, tasty and lots of options to choose from. My favorite is their homemade red devil's food cake with cream cheese icing. I will be anxious to see the changes they are making in the kitchen and counter service area. If you want good food at a fair price, this is the place to eat!

The name of the restaurant really says it all. It's upretentious, and both the food and staff are warm. We ate smorgasbord style, seated with a mixture of people (some local, some tourists like us) and really enjoyed everything. In fact the lunch was so hearty we didn't feel the need for dinner! The price was also excellent - we were given a coupon from someone who was leaving so we ended up paying around $15 per person - a steal considering the amount and quantity of food!
I especially enjoyed the buttered noodles and the fried chicken. The beets were amazing too. The apple cutter and creamed butter were delicious too. The desserts were fine but by the time they rolled around I had no more appetite!

This was a quick stop on our way to Lancaster and we wanted to see what Shoe Fly Pie was. The pie is very sweet and good and if you like Pecan Pie , you will also like this. They have a huge gift shop and its a fun stop.

I was in the mood for a delicious treat. The treat needed to be something special, something I could not buy around my area. We were driving up to beautiful Lancaster with the pretty farms and views. My mind went directly to the
wonderful treat I had some months before. I went to the Strasburg Creamery and ordered one of the most DELICIOUS milkshakes ever.
The milkshake gave me a spring in my step and I loved ever drop. A wonderful clean quaint place to visit. Great for all ages. They have booths and tables inside. A unusual country store that sells a little of everything. A fun place to visit and snack and shop. My two favorite things.

Family-owned & operated since 1972.
This is the place that MapQuest will take you to if you tap in bird in hand Pennsylvania. Their bake goods and snacks are the best. There’s farm animals that the kids can check. They have many high-quality crafts. We found the prices here slightly less than what was in the main town.
