Ravioli was very good. Extremely slow service though (the bar and lounge were super crowded with one server and the restaurant was empty). The chicken on the salad was so tiny. Dishes are quite small.

My husband and I eat here occasionally and the food is spectacular. All Italian and seafood dishes are delectable... it's impossible to be disappointed regardless of what you order. With that said on a recent visit we were quite disappointed as we were seated near the trash barrel at the outdoor patio and we could smell the garbage. That's unacceptable. Also.chairs.for the smokers were just a few feet away from our table. The waitress seemed far from interested in serving us. She brought the check without ever asking if we wanted dessert. It was my birthday so of course I wanted dessert but I didn't bother to ask. We just paid and left. Never had this experience here but we never ate outside either.

Most Dunkin' Donuts locations are somewhat similar. This place was especially nice... I enjoyed the inviting ambience. There is a quiet "cafe feel" to this particular spot. It's relaxing and clean with great lighting. The staff was pleasant...friendly and accommodating. A big "2 thumbs up" to all who make this DD a little more special than most... The experience even made my coffee more satisfying than usual...

We hadn't been to NYAJ for a while since our last visit was disappointing. We didn't write a review at the time because we sensed the restaurant was experiencing some problems...maybe staffing issues. To be fair, NYAJ compensated us for the poor offerings.
But, that was then and this is now. Our most recent experience was a vast improvement. Our server, Susan was exceptional...very friendly and more than accommodating. ..We were celebrating birthdays and she added to the celebration of the occasion. The food and drinks were terrific. We like how the menu changes for the season...the special Octoberfest menu selections were appealing. So, to NYAJ's of Norwell... "Welcome back"... We look forward to returning again soon.

Three us went here for dinner. This was my second time the first was just for appetizers and we were not disappointed. We had the pasta Bolognese, Faroe Island Salmon, and spring vegetable farfalle. All the meals were done perfectly, the portions were good size, and everything was flavorful. For appetizers we had the grilled octopus, it was tender and very good, we also had the calamari, but asked if we could have it sauteed instead of fried and it was no problem, the calamari was tender and served with a little bit of heat(spice). For desert we had the pistachio cheese cake, it was very good and the carrot cake which was very good as well. The service was fast but not too fast and not intrusive, and friendly. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. We plan to return.

Was staying within walking distance and stopped in for supper. Cold draft beer about 20 on tap. Excellent and friendly staff that were very attentive and helpful. Large portions and ordered the fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality. In an older strip mall but great atmosphere. Menu had burgers and pizza- calm chowder was perfect.

Open since 1954, this seems to be a neighborhood gem with a lot of locals getting together there. There are about 10 tables, and a couple of dozen stool seats at a large winding bar in the shape of a big W. There is a good selection of breakfast items, the food is good, and the price is reasonable. The service is friendly and efficient, with attentive service on coffee refills. It's open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays, and breakfast until noon on the weekends. Recommended.

Modern Industrial look
We were in the neighborhood and noticed this inviting restaurant in the heart of town. The RB&G looks terrific. It has a warm and inviting appeal. In addition, it's comfortable and relaxing. There are plenty of TV screens at every angle for watching your favorite sporting events. Our food was very good with some chilled wine and craft beers. The only disappointment was learning about the nightly specials after we left for the evening. But, no big deal. The service was otherwise friendly and we had a great time! Check out RB&G when you are in the Rockland downtown neighborhood.

The focaccia bread and white beans were delicious, but a waste of stomach space for the meal! Our 3 year old had a hotdog (she rarely eats grilled dogs and loved it!) and mashed potatoes, while my 4
Year old had a ham and cheese sandwich with fries. The Wikki Stix they gave our girls could have kept them occupied for a few more hours! Seriously....genius. Certainly made our meal (and the meals of people around us) so much more enjoyable.
I had steak tips with butternut squash and Delmonico potatoes. Well seasoned and tasty, but I barely ate anything because I loaded up on bread. My husband had the filet special with some sort of fried egg on top with couscous or rice. He said he preferred less of the Char, but it was good.
It was a strong meal. We arrived just after 5 and didn’t have a wait (they opened at 4) but the place was packed with a long wait when we left at 6:30.
The man seated beside us had an enormous fried seafood platter. Prices and food similar to the Inn at Bay Pointe but a more trendy crowd. All of our favorite apps and food from the menu available—meatballs, Italian cheese platter, etc.
Our waitress was very attentive. We appreciated all that she did to cater to us! Certainly not Fleming’s or Del Frisco’s but absolutely more appropriate for our family at a mere fraction of the price!
