This is our go to place for pizza and Italian Food in Rochelle. We stopped here with. 3 other couples tonight. The food was fantastic as usual. The problem tonight was lack of service by our waitress. I ordered sausage and peppers and added a house salad it comes with fries but you can sub with a salad if you want. I wanted fries and added a salad. They had a large group in the private room but our waitress wasn't working there. It wasn't a packed house tonight. We have seen more customers and the service is usually great. The problem was helpers brought the food to the table and didn't ask if we had everything and our waitress never came to check to make sure. I had ordered an ice tea which I never recieved or was I charged for it but I never recieved my fries but was charged for the salad and on the bill it said fries. I don't know what happened tonight but the serve was not there. So yes we were all dissapointed. Drinks from soda, water, and beer were not refreashed.

Stopped in for lunch with a couple of friends. This place is basically a diner with a salad bar.
I had the meatloaf dinner. It was basic diner food. Nothing special. The salad bar is fresh, but iceberg lettuce and no lite dressings.
My friends had the fried chicken and the chicken alfredo pasta. They liked it.
There is limited selection in this area. The food is decent, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable.

Last ate here over a year ago and the food is still great with cheap prices. Experimented with the homemade salsas on my eggs and enjoyed. Had a tough choice between having a slice of chocolate Oreo or chocolate peanut butter pie. Went with the choc pb & it got better with every bite!

Culvers are a bit better quality than typical fast food but it certainly shows in the prices that are the same or more than going to a sit down restaurant in town and getting soup or salad, rolls and such. Culvers is pricing themselves out of the fast food market.

The Flight Deck Bar & Grill is open year-round at the Rochelle Municipal Airport. April thru October, enjoy a unique view of parachutes descending overhead during Chicagoland Skydiving Center operations. The menu features a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees featuring seasonal ingredients. The bar serves beer, wine and liquor and has a seasonal list of signature cocktails and infuses its own flavored liquors. Reservations are accepted for parties up to 30.
We went saturday to enjoy some cocktails, dinner and to watch the skydivers. Unfortunately, the winds were too severe for jumping, but we enjoyed great appetizers, cocktails and dinner. Would have been great to watch the jumpers landing, but next time we will call ahead to make sure they are going to jump. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and took care of us the entire evening. Very relaxing evening.

We routinely order the 22 pc fried chicken meal which comes with several sides. Great for a large family or get together. Everything we've had here has been a huge hit. Nothing fancy, but definitely great comfort food.

We dropped in after church, and were pleased with the food and service.
When you arrive, you'll get the usual chips, with freshly made salsa. It was very good.
We ordered dinner - my wife had their trio, while I had a chicken Burrito. The rice that came with the meal was good. The beans - I can say I've had better. They seemed out of step with the nature of the restaurant.
We both tried their Margaritas, which were pretty good.

Always good food, been years since been here. Love the beer nuggets. Hadn't been to rochelle in years but this place still one of my favorites to go to.

Better than the chains.
We ordered for pickup, and arrived on time. They were doing a good business, and were a few minutes behind schedule.
We had ordered a large veggie pizza. What was surprising were the toppings - we're used to green olives that have zing you can taste. These were pretty bland.
The crust was very crispy - almost too crispy.
So, better than the chain restaurants, and if you like crispy crust, go for it!
The interior of the restaurant has seating. They obviously make their own crusts - a layer of flour covers almost every flat surface in the place, and most of the staff. The pizza sauce was a little on the sweet side.

So far, I've tried the panzerotti, the chili, and the Italian Beef sandwiches and haven't been disappointed. The chili is on the spicy side, so if you don't like it spicy, don't order it. The panzerotti was amazing! The crust was nice and tender and the filling was delicious! The Italian Beef...WOW! This is the best Italian Beef I've ever had. It puts Portillo's to shame....sliced so thin and was so tender and packed with flavor! The fries are served in a paper lunch bag, so you can take your leftovers with you, or fold up the bag to keep them hot. What a great place to eat!
