Simply the BEST frozen custard in southeast Michigan. This little place has been here as long as I can remember. I used to go here as a kid with my parents. They have most all the ice cream treats, but the frozen custard is what they are known for. Only open seasonally. No the healthiest treat on the planet, but the best tasting treat on the planet.

I've heard about it, read about it. For some reason, this was my first time visiting.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with many Hungarian antiques displayed throughout the facility. It was a Wednesday evening and very well attended. There is a large dining area in the middle of the room, with tables throughout. There are booths surrounding the area, which lend a bit of privacy and comfort. My husband and I usually split dinners. We had decided to try two different dishes, and bring home the leftovers. We ordered Chicken Paprikash and Stuffed Cabbage. We were brought a basket of bread and then our salads. The blue cheese dressing was absolutely delicious...I took half of my salad home and finished it today! Both dishes were very well prepared and delicious! Our waitress was great...she had many tables and handled them all with smiles and made suggestions regarding our orders. The owner stopped by our table a couple of times and made us feel very welcome. We shared a bottle of Hungarian wine "Bull's Blood" It was dry and light. We had to forgo dessert as we were literally stuffed. I know that this will become our new go-to when we are in the mood for authentic Hungarian food!

If you're looking for the real America, this place is it. Zorba's has been a Riverview institution for decades, and for very good reason.
I've eaten here three times in the last week and for me, this is as good as it gets for diner food. The breakfasts safe fantastic. Eggs are aways cooked precisely as ordered, sunny side up are really runny and over easy has the perfect yolk. Thick, crunchy bacon, delicious sausage patties and filling home fries are all excellent. Also, their pancakes and French toast are great as well.
For lunch, look no further than their classic coney dogs - with thick casing that gives a slight snap with each bite.
Place is always filled with locals and the service staff is lovely.
In summary, if you're looking for a hearty American breakfast or classic Downriver lunch, this is the spot.

Friends from Ann Arbor suggested we make the trek to this restaurant, as we were looking for Mediterranean food. We are very glad we did. The service was friendly and fast and the food was pleasant. We started with a fattoush salad and my only suggestion would be to cut the lettuce in smaller chunks. The flavor was good.
We had soup and two entrees and were very pleased with them. The lamb chops were excellent, not overcooked.
The service is friendly and the food came quickly.
I looked at two family platters at tables next to us and they looked wonderful.

I have been to this place multiple times. The pork rinds are great assuming you order them on the day they are being made. I have enjoyed the brisket as well as the mac-n-cheese. The wide array of BBQ sauce caters to any BBQ enthusiast. The pork nachos were good although I have had better at a different BBQ joint. The jalapeño corn bread is amazing. Great place to dine at.

All you care to eat Friday Fish Fry for 8.5 w/ soup/salad and rolls. Great pasta dishes here, too, but I'm partial to the Fish Fry. Good for family. If you're downriver in the D, you'll want to try the fry on Fri.

Sibley gardens has not changed in 45 years still great. Waitstaff, food and atmosphere is still great. Walleye special, Salmon, and frog legs were ordered and were excellent. Appetizers steak and mushrooms were also great.

The breakfast buffet is pretty good. Wide variety of food to choose from. The scrambled eggs have been a bit cold the last few times and the hash browns a bit greasy. I'd prefer the other potatoes but they put meat in them and I'm a vegetarian so they're off limits. They will give you eggs done another way or toast if you prefer. The staff is always friendly and attentative.

This restaurant was awesome. Doesn't seem like much from the outside but it was great. We had 2 appetizers- shrimp and bruschetta, 2 entrees- chicken parmigiana and lasagna, two drinks- Reisling and Jameson, and 1 dessert- apple pie a la mode. Everything was absolutely delicious and the owner was there making sure our dinner experience was the best it could be. The prices were reasonable also. I wish this restaurant was in my town.

Owned by the same owner (Paul) for about 50 years. Bumpy ice cream, waffle cones, sundaes, cute atmosphere, and outside seating! Prices spot on !!
