I stopped for breakfast. I had a sausage and cheese omelet and was everything to be expected. It was well prepared and good.
The service left a bitter taste in my mouth. As noted but others there seems to bee a difference between locals and travelers. There was 1 server working the day I was there . She was giving another table a birthday present, discussing her weekend, etc . She was very attentive to them. I barely had any interaction with her. She did not come and check on my meal until I was basically done. I do understand she would not have the same connection with me but I was made to feel like an outsider. It did have a effect I her tip.

We went to the Tousey House for a holiday dinner with visiting family.
It was busy but the service was terrific.
The food was incredible! Every portion that we had served was better than the last.
Generous portions and ideal presentation.
Everyone in our party went away with the same impression. Rare find and reasonable pricing.

Dan and Lani Valas started Great Crescent Brewery in November 2008 in a small storefront on 2nd Street in Aurora, IN. Since these humble beginnings they have expanded into a historic building built in 1843 which served as the warehouse for the Thomas and JW Gaff Distillery. All food prepared on site - smoked meats, sausages and salmon. Fresh salads and home-made sides can be selected to accompany your meal. Fresh bread baked daily and gourmet cupcakes available for dessert. We are an award winning brewery with a rotating selection of beers to compliment our 4 standards Blonde Ale, Coconut Porter, Harmonie Bier Dark Lager and Aurora IPA. Always 9 of our own hand-crafted beers on draft and 3 gourmet soda's - Sparkling Lime, Vanilla Cream and Root beer. Check our website and FB page for details on monthly events.
My husband and I heard this place was good but our experience was not. We will not be going back there. I ordered the pulled chicken and it was nothing but a piece of cooked chicken, not evened seasoned broke into huge pieces and put on a hard bun.

Jane's Saddlebag in nestled on the banks of the Ohio river in Northern Kentucky. We are a tourist destination which include a Restaurant, Whine shoppe, General Store, Petting Zoo, Kids village, special events and host to company parties. We offer something for all ages! All our food is home cooked and desserts are home made from scratch.
Had very high hopes for this place based on the reviews. We were very disappointed and mistreated by the staff at the petting zoo. The 4 year old that was with us made a comment about the barn being stinky. The employee took this personally and repeatedly scolded the child in a very rude manner without our consent or permission. We were alone with him in the barn at the time so we felt very uncomfortable. We didn't respond and decided it was best we just let ourselves out and take him to the playground instead (also extremely disappointing). The employee refused to let the situation end there. As we were making our way down the driveway to the other buildings the employee at the petting zoo continued to scold the child and yell rude and demeaning statements at him about how he should not have said the barn was stinky. He only stopped when my friend (mother of the child) turned back around and said "that's enough, he's only 4". We will never go back. We paid three admissions to the petting zoo, bought drinks, bought lunch and everything was very overpriced. I understand some employees may have issues that prevent them from properly interacting with customers but what we experienced was absolutely terrible!! Mistreating children and scaring them is completely unacceptable

Our first visit was on a busy Friday night and we had reservations. We were promptly seated at our reserved time and subsequent service from our waitress was superb. Food was good but several items on both my plate and my wife's plate were lukewarm.

Need a downtown place to eat that is known by the locals as having fresh, on-the-spot made food (nothing bought from a mass-produced processor). Outdoor tables allows smokers to catch up on the latest local gossip, while the inside is cozy and reflects the interests of the owner. We were even offered a free dish of fresh, farm-grown cantaloupe. The menu contains a bit of local history as well as sandwiches and breakfast items. The waitress and the owner were quite friendly and made us feel at home. The restaurant, as well as other shops in Rising Sun, are a definite part of the town's charm.

Armed with our Groupon, we trekked over to Aurora to try out this historic restaurant. We were so pleasantly surprised by the fabulous food, comfortable laid-back atmosphere and attentive service. Shrimp and grits to die for, fried mozzarella appetizer among other things, were all delicious. It was difficult to choose what to order from the very diverse menu.
We’ll be back! Next time we’ll try the burgers.

We had the dinner Buffet and throughly enjoyed it. There was a good variety of choices for all tastes. The food was delicious! Not usually a fan of buffets I will return to this one. Clean, food is hot or cold as it should be, waitresses friendly and on the ball. This is the place to eat at The Rising Star Casino.
