While visiting Richland Center, we saw a sign advertising Chocolate Shoppe ice cream. What a pleasant surprise we were in store for!!!!
We found that there are delicious paninni sandwiches and savory soup. We ended up ordering lunch and loved every bite.
The Cheese Cellar will be our new go to lunch spot in Richland Center!

Great service. Friendly people. Mushroom soup was sublime. Prime rib had good flavor but was a bit tough.

Their ice cream (custard) is fabulous and the burgers are outstanding. Started in Wisconsin and still feels like quality food fast.

Their daily specials are inexpensive. I got the baked chicken with stuffing and gravy, corn, french fries, a side salad, and a cup of soup fir $7.25! The chicken was very tender, fall off the bone, but very bland. My boyfriend got the Center Cafe burger with a cup of soup for $6.25. The daily specials are much more worth it for the money! The burger was adequate. The fries tastes like fish. Overall, the food was nothing to complain or write home about. Service was slow, but friendly. Eat here if in a pinch...

Route 14 is definitely a step up from the previous string of bars and pubs that have occupied this location over the years. Newly renovated in 60's style, with black and white checkerboard floor, bright and clean interior. The new owners are friendly, easy-going and eager to ensure you have a pleasant visit. The new-look place just opened in April 2014, and is working hard to make the place interesting with Cruiser nights, live bands on Saturdays, and daily food and drink specials. Menu is a bit limited (mostly sandwiches and a few others including pizza and salads). The chicken chef's salad is covered with ham, chicken and bacon, and is a good choice. Prices are a bit steep for this neck of the woods, but not outrageous. A fun place with good potential. Best of luck in making a solid run with this new venture!

The Richland Family Restaurant opened recently and offers a badly needed restaurant option to Richland Center. The menu is homestyle fare, with very generous portions. Service is very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the daily special of Polish sausage (seemed to be commercial store brand) with homemade potatoes. The homemade soups were excellent!

Food was very good, everything was hot and fresh. Staff was filling buffet quite often. Stopped on a Friday night on a recent visit to Richland Center. Not much to look at from the outside but inside was clean and staff was friendly and attentive. Will be back again on our next visit.

My apologies to the friendly staff. If this restaurant doesnt find better cod, there will be few repeat customers. The fish pieces were small cylindrical, equally sized chunks. Obviously frozen from a box and they tasted as such. The salad was wilted iceberg lettue with those small dry box croutons, the outer ring of an onion, and two pretzels. Huh? The baked potato was served without butter or sc, but sc was brought on request. Interior is dark old and dirty. Staff was polite and cordial.

Not anything fancy but you can sit at the bar or at a side booth/table to eat. With only 17 restaurants in Richland Center, most places serve basic fare.

The breakfast buffet used to be a sure thing, but it seems to recently have gone way down hill. Eggs were not good texture, bacon was tough, they had a younger person at the omelette station & they didn't seem to be well trained in how to properly cook omelettes. They were overcooked.
