I was new to the community and this place was recommended by another merchant.
Greenwood's is a small local cafe. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you. The food and service are excellent. Good home cooking and my coffee cup never went empty. Portions were more than adequate and breakfast was under $10. The place has a friendly vibe.

Popped in around 5:15, immediately seated, waiter quick to take our order, lightning fast getting our order out. Fajitas sizzling! Staff friendly and attentive. Fit the bill for dinner and we made it before they started getting really busy!

The food is fresh and tasty with interesting twists! No fried goodness here; just tasty food. Try the cold gazpacho - so well balanced with flavors! The Roasted Eggplant sandwich is just incredible. Love their homemade soups! Great for the vegetarian and carnivores in your life. Marilyn and Muh are super nice people. And the Salted Carmel capuccino is just delicious!

We came in for lunch because my wife had been here with a friend a couple months ago.
The seating is standard "small diner". Comfortable but not flashy. The atmosphere is subdued colors and wall hangings and quiet Italian music that add up to a kind of intimate feel.
We were seated quickly and given menus to look at while our drinks and the garlic rolls were brought. Very good brewed iced tea! And everyone is right. The garlic rolls are wonderful.
My wife ordered fettuccini Alfredo and I got chicken Parmesan and ordered it with penne pasta.
Our food was delivered and was excellent, especially considering the price.
The only glitch was neither order was completely correct. The Alfredo was a dinner portion rather than lunch portion, but they agreed to only charge the lunch price. And mine was served with spaghetti rather than the penne I had ordered.
Both tasted great and we will go back when in Reedsburg again.
I thought the cost was very reasonable. $18 for two excellent lunches? I'll take that any day.

Culvers has consistent food, but Reedsburg Culver's loves to cheap out by not filling the ice cream cups and charging extra for little things that other Culvers don't charge for. Don't ruin good food and nice atmosphere with being cheap - it doesn't pay!!

Touchdown Tavern is known for its food, fun and games! We serve food daily from 11 AM - Midnight and our extensive menu includes 8 oz. fresh Angus burgers, delicious sandwiches like a Philly Steak and Chicken Philly, Wisconsin's hottest chili, many appetizers and Friday Fish Fry year round. We have 8 beers on tap, including Guinness and Spotted Cow. We feature Reedsburg's only 8' pol table, a vintage bumper pool table and Elton John's Captain Fantastic pinball machine.
We made our annual trip to the area to purchase plants from Gingerich Greenhouse in LaValle so stopped for lunch at The Touchdown Tavern in downtown Reedsburg. My wife had the French dip sandwich and I had their special Buffalo burger w/their special sauce and fries. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and the drink prices reasonable. We will definitely add the Touchdown Tavern to our go to place for food and drink in the Reedsburg area.

The buffet does off offer a lot of options including chicken, mashed potatoes, and a vegetable. They also have a nice salad bar and soup selection. Were the food becomes average is the pizza. It just seems to bland to me. Sure they have buffalo chicken and some of those other ones like that if that is your thing. Just the plane old pepperoni pizza or the traditional ones seem so bland. It is a combination of the sauce, the cheese and the crust.
Overall it is not terrible and you certainly will find plenty to fill you up. If you are looking for great pizza I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Loaded with meat. Chicago style. Looking forward to the warm months so I can have Jimmy's beef sandwich . Friendly staff. My husband and I can share the sandwich and not be hungry.
