Ate here two nights in a row, as there are very few dining options available in the town. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu is the usual basic Italian fare with some specials available. Can be very busy, but turnover is quick.

This was a nice little stop for lunch while driving through Rangely with my brother, heading to the Uinta Mountains in Utah.
Service was prompt and friendly, coffee was good, prices were reasonable, and the food was a bit better than average: I had an omelet (all day breakfast) and my brother had a BLT.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a refuel . . . but not for anyone seeking a five star culinary experience. Main Street Cafe dishes out a good, standard, reasonable meal.
When I say "don't miss" this one, it's just because it's kind of tiny and tucked away. Easy to drive right past.

Stayed the nite in Rangely and had dinner here. Your typical small town restaurant, a little dilapidated but not dirty or rundown. My coworker had a burrito which was huge with fried beans and rice. I had shrimp tacos also with beans and rice. I thought the price for the shrimp tacos was a little high but when they arrived they were LOADED with shrimp. That was all that was in them. Lettuce, sour cream and tomatoes on the side. They had an adequate selection of beers for a small place in a small town. My coworker said his burrito was good and it was to big for him to eat all of it. All in all it was good and I would eat here again.

I probably should "expand my horizons" and visit other establishments in Rangely, but, heck, I can walk from the motel, pick up a 12" sandwich, (buy beer nearby also) and sit on the porch at the motel and watch the sun sink slowly into the desert over Utah ...

One of three restaurants in Rangely that is open for dinner, the other choices being Mexican or Italian (unless you count Subway as a restaurant, which I don't). While there are tables both inside and outside, there is not really any wait staff. You order at the counter, and they will bring you your food. I ordered egg rolls and garlic pork (which comes with fried rice). Drinjks are limited to soft drinks and bottled water out of a cooler.
Here's how it went down: I sat at a table, and a few minutes later, the girl at the counter brings a take out container of fried rice. No plate, no utensils, nothing but the container. What is in it is white rice fried to a golden brown. And grease, a lot of oil. A few minutes later, she brings a carry-out wax bag and says "here's your egg rolls." It contained two very very greasy spring rolls. Still no utensils, plates etc. She then brings a styrofoam container of the entree, same drill. Pretty much flavor-free, by the way. But lots of oil...
Ok, so maybe I should have managed my expectations better. This really is a take out place with a couple of tables in and out for you to wait for your food. The food is remarkable only for the level of grease and oil used to prepare it.
Go for the Mexican or Italian.

The West End Drive In is a great little restaurant. Very clean, helpful employees, and amazingly good burgers. They offer burgers, pizza, shakes and more. The dinning area is filled with historic photos of Rangely, and has a nostalgic feel.
