Silly Al’s is a bar that makes/sells really good pizza. Their pizza menu is big enough to cover almost any favorite you may have. Don’t go in expecting “fast”, go in and expect “really good”

This is a tiny store in the Pilot truck stop. It serves ice cream only but was good DQ fair as usual. This truck stop is very busy and is small so parking can be a problem.

Lunch time breakfast so we can call it bunch, right. Great spot off the beaten path of the main drag through town. Friendly staffing and good food at reasonable price with proportions that will fill you up.

Had dinner here on a Friday evening. There was live music and dancing in the main room, but the back room was available for meal service. There is also a smoking room, which every time they opened the door, all the smoke rushed out. Not much help having a separate room for smoking. Music was good, Service was good, food just so so. We both had Fish & Chips. The Fish batter was tasteless, the fish not much better, and the chips where okay.

A "thousand" times through quirky Quartzite and just now found this locally popular busy restaurant...maybe because the entrance faces the interstate, not the main street. Enjoyed chats with the great friendly people and was entertained people watching for the hour it took for a simple burger lunch; about the plainest burger ever too. But, the people were great. Next time maybe just the soup...faster?

Driving from Twentynine Palms to Phoenix and promised my wife something non-chain and interesting for lunch and pulled into Quartzsite. Nearly out of town and back on the Interstate when we spotted Taco Mio and decided to give it a try. It doesn't look the most inviting of places but inside it's an OK Mexican cafe. We had fish tacos with rice & beans and the beef taco salad (in a taco shell). Both were really good, the tacos freshly fried and with a couple of ice cold draft beers a very good lunch. Server was helpful and the place reasonably busy with presumably the last of the 'snowbirds' fattening up before migrating back north!

Hearty, home style cooking. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff. Eat at family style tables, Good food and great homemade pies & cinnamon & pecan rolls. Sweet Darlenes Gift and Collectables shop.
It's like stepping back to the 50's but without any food to rave about. The ribs were tasteless as were the french fries. The chicken salad croissant was good, however. And they don't have a liquor license.

We were at the RV show and heard the VFW was open open to the public for dinner during the show. As a way to show support to our support we went there for a meal. There was only one choice, meatloaf and it was excellent. The facility and everyone in it was wonderful. Thanks to our vets and all they have given to our country.

Visited here while in Quartzsite for the last 2 weeks of January, 2017. I ordered the Tri Tip, friend ordered a very expensive Rib eye steak cut. Tri-tip was dry, hard, tough and tasted of nothing but smoke on the outer surface. No marinate of any type. Meat was dry and tough, struggled to cut with a plastic fork and knife. I don't foresee this place being in business very long with the product they serve and at the price points they are asking. I would not call this Barbeque food, it's smoked, and that is about it, to the point of being meat that is tough as leather to chew on and swallow.

Ice cream from 42 acres is served here, with the usual gamut of selections and styles, from shakes and banana splits to cones and cups. I had the coconut-pineapple, and the praline pecan, with of which were excellent. The gal behind the counter was a bit new and flustered, but who is in a hurry when there is ice cream to be had? Definitely worth a visit!
