Our hosts went to considerable length to have us sample everything from this famed place. We had the chicken, brisket, sausages, spareribs and many sides like the green beans, mashpotato, beans and bread pudding . My favorite was the brisket, which fell apart on the fork. The sausage was my second favorite, just perfectly cooked and had a little kick to it. The greenbeans and mash potato were very good as well. I found the other meats dry and was not a fan of them. Overall, while enjoyed the meal, i did not find it so outstanding as the reputation and all the reviews indicated. So i attribute it to my tastebuds...

The staff was really nice, but the food was barely average. We tried the quesadillas, and they weren't horrible, but they didn't have much flavor. I got the Juarez dinner. It had quesadillas, nachos, and flautas. I got 4 quarters of quesadillas, 4 nachos, and 1 flauta cut in half. Then there was this watery queso that had no taste at all....the queso was gross and not even real cheese. It tasted like soup from a can. The food just has no flavor....just cheese and meat with no seasoning. It was a bit disappointing because we heard good things. But there are so many good Mexican food places that this one was just not up to par and not worth repeating.

My daughter and I enjoyed a nice sized slice of pecan pie and it was really good and I would order it again BUT my sister-in-law and niece had the apple with ice cream and it looked amazing! They could hardly eat it all and they said it was delicious. So, I'm going for that next time!

Simple place to get great mexican food in Princeton, Texas. We ate nachos, enchiladas, taco burger, and a dish I can't remember. We were all happy. Our party of 3 paid less than $20, with drinks. Self serve so no tip necessary. Great staff, friendly and fun. I will eat here again next time I am in Princeton, TX. Has a drive thru that had a steady flow.

You will have quite a selection of choices...even fresh avocado. Burgers made fresh to order. Fries are good, too. Not a bad price. Now they just need to offer a grass-fed burger to please the whole family!

First time visit and it was a great change of pace. Old west atmosphere took me back to Old Prescott Arizona where I grew up! Brazed catfish over a bed of coleslaw was absolutely wonderful. A quick trip to Choctaw and back in time to catch a late evening drink and some great music! Our next visit will be early enough to get a table!!

The Golden Chick chain is a favorite of mine. Last night we stopped here on our way home from a trip to East Texas. My daughter had a chicken sandwich, macaroni and cheese and some gravy. She loves the spice packets they give you and adds them to her gravy. My husband had the chicken strips with gravy and a side salad. I had the three-piece chicken with cole slaw. The rolls they give you are very tasty and they come pre-buttered. We had a lot of food left over and we got to-go boxes. They are primarily a takeout place, but they do have a few tables if you prefer to eat inside. We would go back here.

This was a beautiful restaurant with very friendly and informative service, when it came to the menu items. We were surprised to see $21 in soda charges and were not told of a refill fee only a waiter who quickly offered to refill our glasses.Hi Cheri! The food and helping sizes were great. My favorite is the loaded tots. It's tater tots with brisket, cheese, and sour cream. Also, all of the workers were super friendly. You won't be sorry, if you choose to eat here

I will never order another pizza from this place!!! The pizza looked like it was dropped on the floor and placed back in the box. I didnt know dust was a topping!
