Located on Route 13 yet only fifteen minutes drive south of The City of Salisbury, the area overflows with attractions and amenities, yet still keeps a quiet rural charm and a home-town feel. This 17th Century Tavern offers great spaces for dining, food that is not pretentious and great service to compliment.
Steeped in history this Inn is a fun place to visit. As the #1 Trio Advisor rated restaurant in Princess Anne I was expecting to be pleased. Unfortunately, the chef has decided that the food should is too cute and truthfully some aspects were weird. Should stick with a more basic menu. The fried green tomatoes would have been pretty good without the bacon thrown on top which totally obscured the subtle flavors of the tomato. The shrimp and grits had a very odd presentation of grits in some kind of stuck together round of grits in the center of a sauce with shrimp and tasted more like shrimp and salsa. I was really looking forward to the chicken pot pie, but here again the chef couldn't resist going too far. The top crust on the potpie was so thick, like about 3/4" thick, that to cut it and eat it I had to remove it from the dish and cut it with a knife. In addition, the pot pie was very bland at best. Other items on the menu, burger, watermelon salad, and Fish N Chips were just OK. One of our dishes came with a hair from the kitchen on it. This was mentioned to our waitress who apologized for the hair, but took no other action. Should have done something. The previous experience probably explains why there was only one waitress and about 5 diners at the Inn. There are better options out there. Drive a little farther and find them.

Average pizza/italian/greek type place with fresh hot food at great prices. The salads are fresh and crisp, with plenty of cucumbers and ripe tomatoes. The fries are fresh and hot, perfectly seasoned (no stale oil flavor). I had the chicken cacciatore and it was a huge portion, with flavorful sauce and very hot (cooked to temperature, no questionable luke warm chicken) The sauce was not greasy, and was not over-salted which you might find at other pizza places. It was good.
Plenty of parking and seating, lots of local families inside and middle-age couples. A few college students stopping in for take-out. (don't worry, you're not going to get stared at if from out of town) Not overly loud, but it is kid friendly, so don't expect a romantic dinner. This is a place to get a value-priced filling lunch or quick dinner.
My waitress was friendly and attentive, without being overbearing, was there right on time every time I needed her.

I have said it before - I love Hardee's. The staff is attentive, and the manager usually (98%) comes out and checks on you and the meal. At a fast-food place that is hands above the competition.
This Hardee's was unfortunately one of the 2% where I wasn't greeted by the manager. They were swamped with a conference in town. And so they put their heads down and got to work. The food was every bit as good as any other Hardee's experience I've ever had.
I'm willing to for-go the niceties when it comes to getting busy and putting out great food for the customer. And these folks made that happen.

Typical Subway fare, with a full menu, despite being part of the "Goose Creek" convenience store at the gas station. Not outstanding, but predictable. Portion size is typical of a Subway - short on meat, heavy on bread. The rolls are good quality... but c'mon folks, let's put a little more "stuffings" inside!!

My monthly lunch girls group went here last month. We were all pleasantly surprised with the flavor of our food and the great prices. It is a new eatery in Princess Anne and I really think it will do well. The bakery items are to die for. We shared a cinnamon roll and it was delicious. Two of the ladies love good coffee and they were very pleased with their choices. I believe the choices change from time to time.

Typical slow service for overpriced delicious chicken. I got sick from this food. Seriously sick on my stomach. Ugly Bowl hugging sick. Horrible food. Something was bad. Ate chicken and Cajun rice. Food poison alert.

I love Popeyes chicken but won't eat it again anytime soon.

With no other dinner options that we could find in this tiny town, we reluctantly headed to the Pizza Hut. And we're glad we did. The gentleman who took our order seemed to take it as his sworn duty to ensure we had a good experience. He put up with our indecisiveness over what type of pizza to order for longer than I would have been able to maintain a smile. The pizza and bread sticks were really tasty - it has been too long since I gave Pizza Hut a chance. And the cinnamon sticks were our breakfast the next day.

They obviously don't care about cleanliness in this place. The whole restaurant was overrun by flies. There was food all over the floor. Bathrooms were gross. The soda fountain area was a mess. Find another place to eat!!!
