We have been to this restaurant couple years before and enjoyed it. It's one of those restaurant she would better stop that and less you been there before or someone told you about it. It is a basic country restaurant with basic American food cooked fresh. The interior have been upgraded since the last time we were there. This time I had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes and my wife had homemade chili and grilled grilled cheese sandwich. It was so wonderful, tasty and I would go back again and recommend it to anybody passes by that way.

This place exceeded my expectations. I was told about it by friends even though my mother has lived here in the area and never knew about it. I think it’s a secret LOL
The food, the atmosphere- it was just a wonderful place to come and we will return. Don’t miss the Christmas gift shop this time of year. My mother is pretty discriminating and she also gave this A+
We were celebrating her 98th birthday

Great place to take the kids or the adults. There Italian beef sandwiches are the best around it's a good old-fashioned hotdog stand inside a building with the best ice cream in town!

Get lost in the oldies music, and have ice cream of 40 flavors & up, including a bakery section only at Sh-Booms Ice Cream & Sweets
This place is on US-27 FL33837
Best selection of fantastic ice cream we've ever come across
The place has an old style American Diner feel to it with great music coming from an old style juke box - brilliant
The owners were very helpful and stayed open for us past their normal closing time whilst we indulged ourselves
Don't go past it it's fab

Stopped in on my way from Orlando to Tampa. They had a special of T-Bone or NY Strip w/2 sides for $9.99. The people next to me ordered it and it was a very nice size steak and looked wonderful. I had the 3 meat plate for $12.99. I had the brisket, pulled pork and spare ribs. All were very good. The ribs were tender. I had collard greens as my side and loved them. Service was very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was they had two BBQ sauces and both had sweetness. I just don't like sweet sauce, but the meats were good enough I didn't need any sauce. I would definitely return.

This is a quaint little place off the beaten path. My first impression was that it was a charming place that would be great for a leisure afternoon. The wait staff was attentive, pleasant and efficient. The menu sounded interesting. After we ordered some wonderful scones were brought to the table. They were perfect and delicious. There were 5 of us and we ordered various entrees. The cheesy chicken crisp was way too cheesy and the use of potato chips a bit "cheesy". A nice flavored bread crumb topping would have been better. Two people ordered it. One meal was dry and the other ok but nothing to write home about. One ordered the buffalo chicken salad as a wrap and really liked it. Another ordered the cob salad and which had too much lettuce and not enough "cob" althought the watermelon substituted for egg was interesting. I had the Windsor ham and cheese in pastry pinwheels over blackberry sauce. Sounded great but the execution left a lot to be desired. The pastry puff over powered the ham and cheese and the blackberry sauce should have been served over the puffs, not under. They were not wonderful. Sides came with the meals. The corn souffle was waaaay to cheesy. So much so that the corn flavor was missing. The Mediterranean orzo salad was all orzo and very little Mediterranean. Now the worst part. It was too expensive for the fare offered. The majority of meals ran about $12 with drinks extra. This would be in line with other "ladies" oriented places (Lavender and Lace) if the fare was up to par. I felt that each dish could have been upgraded with a little effort. Will not go again. I was the only man there.

Food was excellent at this restaurant! We started with the garlic bread appetizer, it might have been the best garlic bread I ever had! We got the large order which was a whole loaf of bread. Should have stayed with small as there was only three of us. Our orders were taken quickly, and our food came out without any delay. Our entrées were all great! Very well prepared food and great service, we will definitely return to this restaurant!

Stopped with a large group on our way to the coast for a quick bite to eat. Service was very quick, and staff were very efficient. Food was fresh and very tasty - especially the French dip which was awesome! If you stop at Loves garage make sure you pop in!

Had lunch at Peebles in October. The BBQ ribs and pulled pork were great. The staff were very friendly, but a bit slow serving people. I would give this place 5 stars based on food quality if it were not for the building being horribly run down with overflowing garbage cans next to our table.
