Let me start by saying you must make a reservation online two months before you go and you really should do it as the clock strikes midnight. We had a 6:30 reservation which we thought might be early, but since the meal took 3.5 hours, it was a perfect time. It is an expensive dinner, but if you know that going in how could you be surprised? My wife and I do not drink and our bill came out to $690 which included to extra $10 no-alcoholic cocktails.
You are treated extremely well from the beginning. The valet service takes your name so that you are greeted when you get inside. As you leave at the end the inside tells valet so your car is waiting. The courses are delicious and presented in a unique and fascinating way. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly. There was a brief intermission in which you are brought to the bakery in the next room to learn about their bread and watch somebody make some.
My wife and I have some dietary restrictions and we were taken care of with deliberate attention and detail. I would like to go back one day, but the price makes it difficult. I would definitely recommend, though.

Patisserie/Cafe; unparalleled desserts and confections; excellent informal breakfast/lunch/dinner spot.
Simply delightful - pastries to die for. Great desserts to take home especially if entertaining. You'll wow your guests. Great place for breakfast or lunch, although I was disappointed in the croissant. IT was more like an airy dinner roll made to look like a French croissant, more like something from the supermarket rather than a flaky layered roll. That said, I had a delightful lunch. The soups are terrific.

This is a cozy little place in town. I believe the person who greets you is the owner. He was very friendly and helpful helping us decide what to order. From the soup to the sandwiches which are made out of crepes of course was delicious and tasted like the salad fillings had just been picked from the garden. Great little spot. They also serve many flavors of ice cream here if you want to stop in for a refreshing treat.

The restaurant is located on a side street with available parking on site. The owner, staff and manager are very friendly and accommodating. There is a bar within the restaurant and a available conference room. I have attended meetings in the conference room which was buffet style, and the food was excellent if your thinking of having an affair. The menu is very extensive and the prices are reasonable. They offer a price fix menu which is a real steal. The food is freshly prepared and the portions large. There is a very nice wine list and they offer house wine by the glass. The deserts are excellent and worth the price, included with the price fix menu. I have dined there numerous times and never had a bad experience. One of my favorite places to eat. I highly recommend this location.

American Seafood Restaurant in Pleasantville NY Serving The best Local Fish and Shellfish around with Organic Vegetables from Farms across the Hudson Valley and New Jersey. Elegant & Cozy Restaurant Bistro Style, Perfect for a Special Events with Customized Menus from our Chef Marcello Created for any Occasion
On our way to the Jacob Burns Center we decided to trust the TripAdvisor reviews and I'm so glad we did. Really fresh and well prepared seafood, which is hard to find these days.
We had the seafood chowder...with recognizable pieces of shrimp, lobster, scallops, salmon, etc. in a light cream base. You could actually taste the individual pieces of seafood. Delicious. Then the Seafood Appetizer platter. Generous pieces of lobster, shrimp, and sea scollops in a tasty sauce on a bed of corn salsa. Fresh from the grill, well presented, and very flavorful.
And did I mention the bread basket with a selection of bread with crispy flatbread and warm cornbread?
We had the Creme Brûlée for dessert. Beyond good. Maybe the best ever. And a really hot Cappuccino with biscotti.
Truly...it was a superb lunch. What a find!

Desperate for coffee on way home from airport. Pulled off Saw Mill and found The Black Cow. Parked across the street. Served quickly by friendly woman. Seemed like a nice place with a great local vibe. Good coffee.

Dining in Westchester County can be challenging at times with the vast array of different dining experiences to choose from. We drove to Pleasantville from NYC based on a friends recommendation and we were not disappointed. Their broad menu including specials offered us wonderful choices. While my wife still favored a traditional chicken parm, i favored their orecchiette barese pasta. This followed the Margarita Paste that we shared as an appetizer. Great choices!! You won't be disappointed either.

Living in close by, I never would have known Dai Sushi existed if not for searching for top rated asian restaurants in my area on TripAdvisor! We visited on a recent Friday night with my adult son. Freshest and best tasting sushi I've had in our immediate area hands down. It was presented beautifully. Our dumpling appetizers were delicious and my son also got chicken with udon noodles which he proclaimed excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. Though tough to spot if you aren't looking for it, don't overlook this restaurant for top notch cuisine.
