We went for the first time this week. I loved the 50's theme they have here and the jukebox! We had the junkyard dog, chicken chimichanga, tacos and nachos with guac! All so good! After we ate we had ice cream.... Also great! They have a lot of ice cream flavor and a great menu selection... Something for everyone! We will be back! Check their Facebook as they are not open all year round.

Always friendly. Sometimes a little slow but only because they are busy with drive thru. Always fresh

I had angel hair pasta (very thin spaghetti) with marinara sauce and sauteed veggies (broccoli, mushrooms, peppers). Pasta was cooked perfectly. Marinara was thick and well seasoned, lots of nice garlic! Veggies were plentiful. Sauce was mixed in with the pasta, and the dish was served piping hot. Portion was generous. The little rolls were unusually good too, hard crust on the outside; soft, moist, and yeasty on the inside; also served hot. Service was good, decor was sort of Italian provincial, pretty nice, adequate space around the dining tables. My whole bill was $8.50. Best restaurant around. Next time I'm in Plainfield I'll try a salad or a sandwich, everything I saw being served looked good.

This restaurant is a big hit with the locals and non locals alike. I've only been disappointed like once or twice coming here. The food overall is great and the service is typically good as well. Certain things can be pricey though. The owner really cares about making sure customers are satisfied, which is a very good thing.

Summer isn't here yet, but Hanks is open! We stopped in to grab some ice cream, but the food smelled so good we ended up ordering food... No regrets! We ordered a double cheeseburger and clamcakes.oj my goodness... The burger was mouthwatering delicious! Wasn't a frozen patty.... It was fresh cooked beef! Tasted amazing! Clamcakes were great too! Hubby going back now to get us some ice cream! Looking forward to summer and more Hanks all season long!

We visited for dinner on a Friday night. We were not disappointed! The place doesn't look like much from the road but don't be fooled. We opted to sit in the lounge. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I had the fish and chips with clam cakes. Really really good!!! Someone else at the bar had the prime rib.....thats what I will get next time. It looked amazing. I believe they have that on Friday and Saturday! I won't hesitate to eat here again and am looking forward to trying it out for breakfast.

Turn off the hwyway and make the quick stop at Daybreaks Diner - open from 5:00am to 2:00pm. Our waitress was fantastic and our omelettes were killer! Thin, thin egg with tons of goodies inside. The home potatoes are something to remember...like for a long time. Our meal was outstanding, the service super and the price...cheap! GO GO GO!

Diverse menu, Mexican, Italian, seafood, sandwiches, steaks, something for everyone. Very friendly and fast service. Used to be New York Pizza which was good but this is better. Potions are just under embarrassingly TOO LARGE. You'll waddle out if you eat it all. Very good quality flavor, textures, smells and looks. I'll be back with family or friends. We ordered a (massive) Mexican steak plate and the (piled high) fisherman's platter all for about $40.

For 10 years while visiting my children in several places in this area I have tried many Chinese restaurants and this is the tops. I would compare their cooking to the top places in either NY or Boston’s Chinatown The egg rolls are not greasy, the lo-Mien is perfectly cooked, and as a lover of Szechuan cooking I found the heat level better than most. I also have to say that their hot & sour soup is the best I have had a any wear.

My family and I absolutely love Gus's. We have never had a bad meal and the service is always friendly. I love their eggplant Parmesan and their pizzas the best, but you can't go wrong with anything.
