Absolutely loved the chili(you can get it with or without beans). The house made creamy Italian dressing is do good people use it instead of mayo and even on saltines that they bring to the table. Salads were huge and super fresh. Highly recommend stopping in when in town.

This place is a great place for donuts. Even open on Sundays. Apple Fritters are truly awesome and everything I have tried here has been good. Friendly staff and clean place.

Zerngast Chicken Dinners
I usually go to the other chicken restaurants around town, but I wanted the onion rings from here. Awesome rings!! They are the thin and crispy, not the thick ones like the ones that come frozen. The coleslaw is great too! I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it just wasn't that great. I basically left it and ate all the sides.

Food is fresh and tasty. Good service also. I like the taco salads. The homemade tortilla chips are hot and not greasy. Really good with the cheese dip sauce. Tuesday night is Taco Tues. taco's are a dollar. Also they have daily and nightly specials. Easy to get to, just one block West of Broadway to Pine.

We almost always go for the tips, bit lately we've been getting the Texas burger. Both are delicious and leftovers are probable for most people. Onion rings are a must. Whatever your pleasure, you can't go wrong at Jim's. Chicken fried steak will satisfy the hungriest appetite as well.

My husband comes from Chicago and really liked the deep dish. I don't care for the deep dish but my pizza was excellent!!! I am more of a thin crust person but their traditional crust was perfect. And the hot brownie for dessert...TO DIE FOR. Definitely recommend this place.

We ordered 2 plate lunches, one meatloaf, the other chicken and noodles dinner. Both came with home made rolls. We chose a salad, a vegetable etc. They were very tasty, and filling, no room for pie, however it did look really good.
Service was very good and a cheerful place to eat.

Was hoping for something very similar to an Olive Garden but was disappointed. Not much flavor with the manicotti I ordered and it was a very small portion for a dinner meal. Probably will stick to the chain restaurants instead of returning to this one.
