Weather was beautiful so we went for a drive. Stopped in Pitman to stroll. Signs on shop said they had award winning hoagies. They have a menu with hoagies as well as other hot sandwiches, paninis, etc. There are tables for dining in but we decided to take ours to go and eat in the nearby park. We shared a 12" Aunt Ray. Seeded roll was nice , crusty and chewy. A nice amount of good quality lunch meat and sharp provolone cheese. It was so full that it was a bit messy to eat but delicious. $13 and change for sandwich, chips and soda. Plenty for 2 people.

This small ice cream store fits perfectly into the Pitman main street. The town is walkable and Alaura's is a popular place. There are several flavors, all home made by the owners and there are free samples before you buy. There are standard flavors but many go there to see what is new or different. It is a bit pricy but when you consider the ice cream is all natural, it is worth the price.

Endgrain has become part of our daily routine. On our morning walk we stop in for a Redeye and an Americana. The friendly staff who seem more like family add to the uniqueness of downtown Pitman. Thank you Endgrain and hope you have many years of success!

This is our go-to Chinese food place in town. My wife loves their Asian cabbage salad. Their chicken & shrimp spring roles are a favorite of ours as well. We usually do take-out but will eat in once in a while. The restaurant is clean and the staff is attentive - you won't be disappointed. The owner, Yen, is great - she is always smiling and happy to help you. Just a solid staple in our family's repertoire of local specialty food establishments.

Angelo's Diner has a small parking lot next door. The diner has a real retro feel. The service is really prompt and attentive to what you need. The menu for breakfast is simple but complete. The food was good.

My wife and I have been craving some pizza; found this place while we were in the area. Its a small place on Broadway. Called ahead to make reservations( don't take). Got there; had to give name and phone number....can't stand inside. Waited outside in the cold.
Service was attentive; food was outstanding. Would go again.
Would have given 5 stars if reservations were available.

We were excited, having heard many good comments about the happy hour specials here, but if you have a disability that prevents you from sitting on the high bar chairs, then know that they cannot accommodate you, nor will they extend the specials to you while sitting on a regular chair 15 feet away. There was so much confusion over our seating when we arrived and when the disabled party agreed to try to sit on the high chair in the bar, by then it appears seats were saved and there were not 4 together, so we were taken back to the dining room and told we could not enjoy the happy hour menu. Well we could but we would have to pay twice as much as those sitting in the bar. I found this whole business bizarre, but it still could have been swept over by a friendly server. All we seemed to get was attitude. More of that when I questioned why we were given the lunch menu and it was after 4 pm. She said she wasn’t about to take it away from us since we already had it. What? It was given to us just a moment before. I still don’t get it and did not get it later when one of the items on our bill was priced from the dinner menu, which included a salad, but was served from the lunch menu, without the salad. We tried to get in an early dinner because we had to get up at 2:30 am to go to the airport for an early flight. The “twice the price” drinks were ok, the food was good, even though one order contained ingredients the diner asked to be withheld. We did not send it back. The tortillas used for the short ribs tacos were not very fresh, but the other ingredients were and had good seasoning. It seems to me Happy Hours are to bring people in, but if you cannot accommodate or will not accommodate all those drawn in by it, then maybe you should expand the area or relax the pricing restriction. For me it was a mixed bag of decent food, no warm and friendly service, and a bar that is not accesssible for the disabled. I do not mind paying a premium price for premium service, but that was not our experience on this visit.

There's not much to say. These are the best cream puffs I've ever had. The cookies and cream and chocolate are my favs. They always have specialty/seasonal flavors. They are all good to be totally honest. The apple bars, tiramisu... it's all really good. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

Ry's Bagels has the very best bagels, made fresh daily, they start early every morning while your sleeping or getting ready for your day. The selection makes you buy two dozen when you really one needed one.
Their sandwiches on a bagel are made to order and worth every minute that you wait.
Visit often and enjoy!

In Glassboro for a training conference. Supper with fellow colleagues. Seafood bisque and Moroccan Salmon dish. Both were excellent. Warm soup; warm salmon; quality greens and ingredients to the salmon entree. Clean restaurant; attentive service from the start - hostess, server, bus personnel. Would eat there again. Thank you fro a good supper.
