Pinedale is located in western Wyoming, approximately 75 miles south of Jackson Hole on scenic route US-191/189 to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. The spectacular backdrop of the Wind River Range stretches more than 100 miles, with 35 named peaks over 13,000 feet in elevation, including Gannett Peak, Wyoming's highest. Nearby Fremont Lake, at 12 miles long, half a mile wide and 600 feet deep, is the second-largest natural lake in the state and one of America's deepest.

Hubby had burrito and I had the chicken with cream gravy. Both were very good. Served piping hot by a very friendly lady. Not inexpensive but quite good.

Warm and cozy coffee shop with exceptional homemade caramels and a great selection of all types of books and trinkets for purchase.

Lots of options for beer, not as many for food, but we did fine with small steaks. Sandwich for me, dinner for hubby. Cooked fine. Lots of room in the cavernous restaurant, not great atmosphere but that would probably be a lot different if busy. Good info on beers from the waitress and reasonable prices.

We had enough locals to recommend this, and apparently breakfast is the deal. Well, dinner isn't. You will see plenty of locals, but I am not sure why. We were greeted well, and the beginning was OK. My raspberry iced tea did have a clean your line taste of Coke to it, The food came and then no more server service. We sat there as the older guy was apparently on the phone and the younger guy was talking with his friends in the next room. The younger guy knew we were there but just ignored us. When we finally just picked up our check he knew all about our table and rung us up. My wife's cheese steak was fine but her fries were apparently old and then not well heated up. My open faces Turkey had Turkey auditioning for the Turkey jerky next step in food, and was just passable. Breakfast may be different, but I don't get the draw to this place.

I'm not a Chinese fan. Went here for the wife's birthday after being in the area for over four years. I gave them extra stars since they serve Pepsi products, kept my glass full, and the server spoke good English. Full plates of food like other Chinese places I've been.

On a motorcycle camping trip, we left the KOA, headed towards Rocky Mountain National Park. NOTE: There are no restaurants within 8 miles of the KOA; and the closest one is in the wrong direction (back north). So before starting on the trip, I scoped out someplace within one hour along our way down US 191. Heart and Soul Bakery appears to specialize in breakfasts.
It's like a fast food restaurant. You go to the counter, order from a menu, pay for he meal, and seat yourself. In a relatively short time, one of the staff will bring your plate to you. I had an omelette and it was good. The ladies and girl that were there and helped us were very nice; even though we were transients on a trip.
In 30 minutes, the four of us were fed and ready to head out for the long ride to Grand Lake, CO.
This is not derogatory about the restaurant, but I must note, it took between 5 and 10 minutes to pull away from the restaurant and head East on the highway. What seemed like a very lightly-traveled highway into and out of town was quite busy at 9AM inside the town. The cars just kept coming and coming and coming, spaced perfectly from both directions to make it impossible to depart to the left. Finally, we pulled out one at a time and re- joined down the road. Otherwise, we'd still probably be there. Might have been better off to depart to the right and do a U-turn to head east.

We were told this was the place to go to by another traveler but were a bit disappointed with our visit. On the positive side: interesting decor; walking distance from the Best Western; food was fine; enough on the menu for everyone to find something suitable; service was efficient; not too long to wait for the meal to arrive. However, the craft beers on the menu were not available and there was a bit of a mix up with the tipping which may have been down to an inexperienced staff member of the fact that we were foreigners - but this was soon sorted out.

Half Moon Lake Lodge offers casual fine dining, patio seating and a saloon with fantastic lakeside views.
I would like to give our visit rave reviews, as I LOVE to vacation at Half Moon Lodge, but I can't.
The appetizer and dessert were the only good part of the meal. I got the Penne pasta with vodka sauce. The pasta was undercooked. They also put shrimp in my dish with the tails still on. It is very hard to remove tails while covered in sauce. My husband had the meatloaf, and while the flavor was good, the meatloaf was dry and overcooked. His vegetable side, I believe it was spinach or kale, was to bitter to eat.
To top that off, my meal was supposed to come with a salad and my husbands a baked potato. They did, but we got charged extra for them. $4.00 for the salad and $2.00 for the baked potato. It says right on the menu it is included with your meal. I was also asked if I wanted chicken or shrimp in my pasta. The way our waitress asked, it thought it was included. It wasn't. I was charged $6.00 for THREE shrimp. Unfortunately, we did not realize all of this until after we were back at our cabin and had already paid the bill.
Our meal with tip was over $120.00. for two people. This meal was not worth that. I have been to many fine dinning restaurants, this one did not come close. The drinks were overpriced. I left feeling disappointed and ripped off.
We went into town and ate for the remainder of our trip.

All the Civilization you need is right here at Obo's Market & Deli! Gasoline, Deli, Groceries, Specialty Butcher Shop, Produce, Quality Children's Books, Folkmanis puppets, Raven's Brew Coffee, and the famous Dot's Pretzels!
Had "The Izzy" made which is chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, etc and came with 1/4 of a large pickle on the side. I thought the sandwich was good and made fresh right in front of you. The price was $6.99 which was not ridiculous but IMO $5.99 should have been closer to it. Still, glad I stopped there since I was in a hurry to get to the B&B I was staying at and it didn't take long to get the sandwich

Four of us came here for dinner after brew pub was closed. The food ranged from just okay (my vegetarian sandwich, slightly greasy French fries) to very good (the reuben sandwich that one of my friends ordered). The mac and cheese was especially good. Service was a little slow: the dining room was pretty busy for a Tuesday night but there was only one server. Prices were a little on the high side, but not ridiculously so given that this is a tourist town. Enjoyed the funky décor, but we left just before open mic started. We would have given the ice cream in front a try, but we were too full.
