We are a small 48 seat BYOB restaurant. Chef/Owner Matthew Pierone has been named to Best chefs America (BCA) list since 2013. He specializes in fresh, creative Italian cuisine and is known for his Pork chops, fish and bread pudding. Outstanding customer service is a main focus at the Gourmet Cafe.
Went for dinner tonight and was pleasantly surprised as to the appearance and quality of the service. The food was good and the atmosphere better than you expect for a strip mall. The appetizers we ordered were very good and the entrees were good. Price...MoreHarry, Thank you for trying us. I am glad you liked the service, atmosphere and food! We appreciate you taking the time to leave your thoughts. Chef Matthew

If you're looking for a quiet, intimate place for a cozy dinner, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a place that has an energetic vibe, then here's your spot. The menu is pretty extensive, and I really like that they offer a half portion of their pastas. They have an extensive bar menu which offers many unusual choices of mixed drinks, as well as wines, beers, and the usual other beverages. I'm always looking for something other than the same old drinks, so this appealed to me. My husband and I shared one of their little pizzas for lunch (if you have a big appetite, get your own pizza), and it was good, but not great. All the dishes that passed by looked very appetizing. Their bread that they serve with every meal is outstanding, and it's fun to watch them prepare their food while seated at one of their shared counters in front of the kitchen. They have valet parking which is important because parking could be a big problem if you had to do it on your own. Check their web site for specials that they offer, depending on the day of the week.

Both the deli and the bakery (breads) are wonderful. The Italian bread is always fresh. As another reviewer noted, be prepared to wait in line, this place is always busy. Their Easter bread is soooooo delicious, and I patiently wait for that each year (only made at Easter time)!

This place has an unassuming exterior and counter service, so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The gyro platter was delicious, and serving was so large I ended up making two meals of it. The service is a bit taciturn, but the food more than makes up for it.

Whenever I am at home in NJ, I have to get my coffee from this Dunkin Doughnut. Everyone at this location is extremely nice, they always serve fresh hot coffee. They go above & beyond to make sure everything is great! I love this location, the best!

A permanent fixture in the area, this place has been featured on TV as well as earning a great reputation for good food and reasonable prices. Although it's an essentially Irish Pub the menu options are more robust and very tasty.
I've never been able to get past the burger selections they have because they are huge as savory - try the triple Double if offered - then go to the gym.
Lively at night and weekends and parking is sometimes difficult, it's worth the effort especially in the warm season when their delightful rear outdoor seating area is open.
Clientele and staff are friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Always a great place to go in the area.

R and R is a very tiny deli. It is family owned and they take great pride is the quality of their food and friendly service. They have great breakfast and lunch specials as well as some great homemade soups in the colder months. This place has a loyal following of customers that have been going their for years and they greet most customers on a first name basis. I highly recommend this deli .

I haven't been to Eccola for about 20 years, but wasn't disappointed. We went New Year's eve with a party of friends. With our reservation, we were seated after a short wait. The service was very attentive and the modern styled restaurant is attractive. Eccola has a very large menu from soup to dessert. We had a few appetizers and salads, followed by entrees from veal to seafood. All were very good, however some of our diners felt the quantity left them hungry. The desserts were great with a huge selection.

I was a guest here for a 60th birthday party. The establishment was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Our food was served buffet style. Everything was delicious! The dessert platter of Italian pastries was to die for. This restaurant is inside of Hampton Hotel and nearby are two other Calandra's businesses so be sure to get the address for the right establishment. TIP: For some odd reason, the hosts were not allowed to bring home the leftover food that was paid for. So, establish this with management before booking in order to prevent any issues.

We like everything about this restaurant. Excellent food, huge portions, terrific service. No reservations except for parties of 5 or more, but this is a large place with plenty of seating and parking. It was packed on the Friday night of Labor Day weekend, but we still got seated quickly, and our food arrived nice and hot without a long delay.
Lot s of variety and the stuffed lobster is amazing. Yummy desert menu with lots of desert coffees, cordials, ports--and of course sangria available with your meal.
It gets a little noisy, but not so loud you can't talk. Not where I would come for a relaxing romantic dinner, but definitely a great spot for Spanish style food.
