I don't recall anything special about this bbq place so maybe we didn't order the right thing. The other customers were locals and were friendly. It was also convenient to where we were staying at the Quality Inn during our run from Hurricane Irma.

Conveniently located at 900 Carroll Street, only 1.3 Miles from Interstate 75, The Coffee Cup offers picturesque views of historic Downtown Perry, GA.
Love this coffee shop--excellent food including light meals, salads, and sandwiches. Service is excellent and the owners are so friendly. They let you know they really appreciate your business.

This place is located in a strip mall so you have to be looking for it. It's worth the hunt. Frill free customer area is something you won't think about twice when you bite into these tasty treats. We had the glazed and chocolate glazed. I'm sure I'll be back

The Swanson is a quaint restaurant inside a historic home in downtown Perry. Our specialty is classic Southern homestyle cuisine. We do not offer reservations, however, we do offer call-ahead seating. If you utilize call-ahead seating, once your entire party arrives at The Swanson, you are placed at the top of the waiting list directly behind any other call-ahead groups that have arrived before you. If you would like to reserve one of our dining rooms for a special event, please contact one of our managers. In order to reserve a room you must sign a contract, pay a deposit and guarantee sales. Our managers will gladly share these details with you.
Every bite was delicious!! From the ridiculously tasty tiny biscuits (that tempt you to eat too many!) to the fried green tomatoes (had to try them) to the wildly good deviled eggs to the award winning fried chicken, we ate our way through the menu, enjoying every selection. Should you find yourself in Perry, don’t miss this restaurant. The staff is helpful, warm and welcoming. The manager made sure everything was to our liking and the food was absolutely perfect.

I had a chocolate malt. It was great. Best shakes in town. They have pizza and other food but we just dropped in for dessert.

The food was really good and tasted like it was made from scratch. You go down a small cafeteria line and make your selection.
They didn't advertise and special (meat, two veggies, and bread for $X), so I think we were charged a la carte. Total price was $40 and change for three of us.
We all got one piece of fried chicken, two vegetables, pie, and salads. The food was excellent, but the Chess Pie was absolutely delicious.
We'll go back next time were in Perry.

Beautiful location on Carroll street in Perry, GA. A must stop during the holiday season.
Before you head to The Perfect Pear check their hours and days they are open as of this post . . . Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 11 -2. Brunch Sunday
The menu changes. The photo of menus on TA now didn't reflect everything that was on the menu today.
$12 Harvest Salad with chicken breast
This salad should be $8. The chicken was inedible, it was so over cooked and chewy. It was 90% lettuce. For $12 they should of added more apple, cheese & pecans! I won't order it again.
$13 Banh mi sandwich
AMAZING! It's an American twist on a Vietnamese classic. The flavors really pack a punch in the flavor department. The chicken was soft, flavorful and moist. The veggies were crisp and refreshing. I'll be ordering this next time!!
Two suggestions for The Perfect Pear . . . .
* Dim the lights. The fluorescent lights are so bright it doesn't create a relaxing dinning experience.
* Move the host supplies to the back of the restaurant. It's located in a prime dinning spot, in front of the window. Strange! Part of the charm of dinning on Carroll St. is sitting near a window.

Stopped for lunch, while driving towards home. Food was good, along nice service and we see why people like Chick'fil-A. Resturant was clean as well as their bathrooms. Glad we stopped in.

One of our party of six chose to eat here for her birthday dinner. Unfortunately our server, Brooke, must have had a bad day. Never got friendly service she was just doing her job and it looked like it. She never smiled or tried to be friendly. I asked how many cheese curds were on an order? I was hoping to order enough for the six of us. Instead of making a guess about how many were on an order just said Not many on a small plate! Ok so I didn't order appetizers for the group. Food was barely warm when we got it. My french onion soup was cool. I guess everything sat under a warming light. The place was not busy so I just don't know what was up! I live nearby but will not be back. Too many other choices to spend $150.
