Good's Candy Shop family invites you to visit our shop in Anderson, IN, meet our candy shop family, and see how our fine chocolates are made.

Make the lives of our friends, guests, associates and business partners just a little sweeter, one piece of chocolate at a time.
Excellent ice cream. Have only had the hard, but they appear to sell a lot of soft serve as well. If you go during a warm summer evening, don't be surprised if the line is out the door. They also sell candy, popcorn and other novelty type snacks and although I have not bought any, the candy side of the shop is usually busy as well.
Family owned and the Good's do a lot for the local community as well.

Definitely a 'must experience'. Owned and operated by a local husband/wife team. Great food with a personal touch. Owners are on the floor with great servers so expect top service. Everything is fresh and homemade pies are made each morning. Be prepared to wait a few minutes during peak hours for a seat, but walk in and sit anywhere you like. No matter when you go, you will always find friendly 'regulars'!

My husband and I had not had these donuts until our son's wedding reception. We enjoyed them so much we took my sister and her husband to the storefront before they headed back to Long Beach, CA. We all agreed that these might be the best donuts we have ever had. The made to order concept is great.

I can stop in for a quick brewed coffee, ask them to make a latte or fruit smoothee and get a fresh baked goodie from Sunrise Bakery in Fortville.
Everything about this small town coffee house is as good or better than their national competitors.
Just one block from Falls Park makes this a fun place to get a morning coffee and a morning walk.
They often have live music playing
There are inside tables, and couches. A couple nook seats that let you grab a magazine and sit and read. They have deck sitting and a covered porch with comfy chairs and benches.

We only got sundaes, so we know nothing about the rest of the food. First of all, the menu didn't specify a difference in price between soft serve and hand-dipped ice cream in a sundae, so we ordered a hand-dipped flavor with two toppings. The price for two was $11. That was for 1/2-3/4 c. of fairly tasteless confection littered with huge chunks of melted, refrozen water: large ice crystals (some as big as a tooth) which had obviously fallen into the ice cream, maybe because it rarely gets refreshed? The puny amount of sub-par ice cream was topped with a couple of tablespoons of fairly tasteless toppings, including peanut butter that was more sugar than peanut. And that was all. No whipped cream, no cherry. Oh, and they charge for a cup of water!!! (not included in the $11 for two tiny sundaes - we told them no thanks when we saw that they rang up our cups of water). Our server (behind the counter) was in no way outgoing, friendly, or articulate about the choices. He was willing to take our order.

Unpretentious - If there is one word that could summarize our dining philosophy as it relates to our cuisine, service staff and ambiance. Then, unpretentious is it. All dishes are made to order from hand chosen, high quality ingredients. All house made desserts. Dishes are traditional with an occasional twist. We make every effort to limit high fructose corn syrup. We serve Mexican Coke, Mexican Sprite and San Pellegrino that contains cane sugar. We have one of the best stocked bars in Indiana. Specialize in whisk(e)y. Vast & Notable wine selection Craft Cocktails made with infused spirits, simple syrup and hand squeezed juices. Craft and Import beers Lastly, at Madison's, when you walk through our door, we are going to treat you like family joining us for dinner.
After all the positive reviews I've heard and read on Madison's I was disappointed in our meals. I ordered the scallops which a friend highly recommended. They were good but nothing exceptional. Two friends ordered the 'evening's special' pasta dish and both were lukewarm when served. There was quite a variety of entrees at our table and I heard no raves.

One of the rudest staffs I have encountered. My kids even noticed and that says a lot. There was just no reason for it. Food was average. I've certainly has better DQ. Likely won't return due to staff.

Sahm's at Pendleton, located on US 67 within the Huntzinger Shoppes, opened in January of 2007 and is a proud member of the Pendleton community. Our restaurant offers the best in sandwiches, salads, steaks, pasta, stir fry, side dishes, and appetizers.
We were in the area and a friend recommended we stop for dinner at this location.... the bread was beyond words- fresh, warm and so tasty! The clam chowder has a uniqueness about it and is delicious with a little peppery bite. The fish sandwich was huge, flaky, not too greasy (I don't like fried food much) and very good. My husband had the shrimp and was glad our daughter was helping him eat them as he filled up on bread, chowder and fries.

Two small cones and a medium coke float for $9.91. Vanilla cone was right temperature, chocolate cone was melting faster than it could be eaten, and was not the usual chocolate flavor that you expect from a DQ. The coke float was mostly Coke with a small amount of ice cream. Used the drive thru so cannot comment on the interior. It was convenient to stop here this time but would likely not stop again.
