Had just been at the Hashknife dinner at the Oxbow which kinda lacked on food. Decided to get some dessert at Fargos and noticed the Rum Runner. Waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. The rum runner was amazingly delicious! The chocolate cake was very rich! Highly recommend giving it a try!

“It’s all pretty simple. Every one of us wants to eat right and live a happy, healthy life. It’s hard though, especially in a world surrounded by fast food, hydrogenated oils, food additives and preservatives.”– Chef Kristi Church That’s why we founded Mogollon Moose Bakery. Everything in our bakery/cafe is created with love from scratch by Executive Chef Kristi Church and team daily. Our goal is to bring healthier meal options to our home town of Payson, Arizona and provide food that people will feel good about eating!
We stopped on our way through town for a cup of coffee and a gluten free muffin. The muffin was awesome, and the coffee/tea were excellent too. Really amazing menu.
Nothing I would change, would return. Only slight negative was woman talking on her cell phone with the speakerphone on.

I got a large medium roast coffee here this morning. It is a cute little shop right next to a movie theater. Very convienent location. The service was great. The coffee was really good. There is a little area to add creamer and sweetener. The only thing I would have like more was if they had honey to add to my coffee. I would definitely return.

Good Old Trip Advisor. Once again my wife and I found a great restaurant here on the Trip Advisor website.
Gerardo's Firewood Cafe is an excellent restaurant. The ambiance and the interior decor are very pleasant. There is a nice outdoor seating area available to those who so choose. Our server was very pleasant. The restrooms are clean. The homemade rolls were fun. We loved our two salads, a Greek and a Traditional Caesar Salad. What is not-to-like here at Gerardo's?

Great small town feel and service, always quick and polite; staff is always cheerful and helpful. Awesome ice cream, with great choices...No, you won't pay Dairy Queen prices, but DQ can't give you Scoops flavors either...you get what you pay for. We havent tried it, but hear the espresso is great too. Wish we could get there more often.

It's a "real" Starbucks with the usual drinks, foods, etc. They accept the app. However, the service is really s-l-o-w. She asked each one of us to repeat our order at least twice. Then the wait for our drinks was long. None of our drinks were hard or complicated, but the barrista took a long time to get them out and still our drinks were not correct. Sizes were mixed up, and milk choices were incorrect even with the items written on the cups. It was nice to get familiar drinks and we enjoyed them but don't think that this is a quick stop at Starbucks for your usual drink in any speedy way.

PROs-
-easy in and out
-good selection on menu items
-good prices
-friendly service
CONS
-CASH ONLY- I mean who in this day & age only accepts CASH unless they are hiding it from paying taxes!!!
-NO WIFI- again it's 2017 and a restaurant without WIFI
-NOT VERY TASTY Food- kind of bland
-kind of RUN DOWN- sat on a table out in the parking lot, dust from cars coming in and out and ratty old table cloth
-dirty menu with lots of finger prints and caked on food
Place could be great given minor improvements

This is your typical Dairy Queen, just a bit older and less spacious than others I have been in. They offer all the usual goodies. Nice thing is this is right on the highway 87 when you enter Payson from Fountain Hills. Great little spot to enjoy a treat!
