Being from the Pacific NW, my view of a proper cup of coffee and a Southerner's are a bit at odds. I love that when I am visiting family on the Gulf Coast that I can count on Bankhouse Coffee to provide me a dark and delicious doppio espresso. Whole beans from Coast Roast also make me happy, since it's rare in Mississippi to find true espresso-quality beans to take home.

Come in for some Great Food and Music. Remember BYOB on all Adult Beverages.
Party of 12 engulfed this establishment for lunch today! They were so hospitable! Order at counter then they bring your food. Before ordering, they gave us a sample of the crawfish étouffée—delicious!! We chose to sit outside under umbrellas. Live music playing. Everything that was ordered was good—crab cake, crawfish burger, red fish, red beans! Will definitely return!

Stopped into this great little bakery while in Bay St. Louis. If you blink, you'll miss this place, but the breads and other items are delicious! Breakfast, sandwiches, and to-go loaves of specialty breads are offered daily. The proprietor is friendly and engaging, offering sample of any foods you might be interested in. You won't get this product or service a big box or chain...
We'll be back!

The Original Cajun Beach House!
On our way to Houston from Orange Beach, we went the coastal route. Found this wonderful restaurant for lunch. Great view of the water from the outside eating. Also has very nice tables inside. the menu is quite varied. Entrees or just something small.
super place.

The Pink Octopus is a great place for frozen yogurt.
When I was growing up we had a frozen yogurt place nearby called Zack's. We mostly referred to it by name, but occasionally said "let's go get frozen yogurt". These days people refer to shops such as these as froyo. Normally I'm against such ridiculousness but just the other day I heard myself ask my kids if they wanted froyo. The world as I know it is over. Any coolness I had has evaporated. But back to the review:
There a bunch of different flavor to choose from, but I always get triple chocolate. Toppings include fruit, cookies, candy, boba, cookie dough and an assortment of sauces. The toppings always appear fresh and safe from contaminants.
Like others have mentioned if you guess the weight exactly, you get your order free. I've come close, but am always off by a few ounces. They also offer a punch card where your tenth one is free.
If you want froyo, frozen yogurt or something sweet, come to The Pink Octopus.

This is a new Donut Shop in Long Beach and a they serve fresh baked items daily 7 days a weak. Very good prices, very reasonable for a dozen "Good Melt in Your Mouth" pastries . You got to try them. I have to say they are as good as or better than some other coast Donut Shops. Small in size but large in tasty treats. You can call ahead or walk in and get it.. apple fritters go fast..they are so Good ! Glad to have them in the area. They also serve Breakfast sandwiches with their fresh baked buttery crescents.

We were a bit concerned when we pulled up as there weren’t many people there for a Saturday night. It turned out to be a very pleasant dinner spot, just right with no waiting, good food and easy to have a conversation. The staff were great, very friendly and easy going. The food was quite good, though I thought they would have more seafood options. The menu was more of a “southern comfort food” menu, nicely prepared, nothing fancy. All in all a pleasant place to go.

So disappointed went here for Fathers Day. It took 45 minutes to get our food had to put up with three screaming kids at the table behind me. I ordered Oyster Rockefeller poboy it had maybe 8 to 10 had small oysters not sure what the sauce was they put on it the french bread was hard, very sad. My wife ordered a hamburger it was burned on both sides, and she ordered it med well. I looked for a place on the coast to celebrate fathers day the reviews were great so i drove the 1.5 hours and left disappointed!
