I dropped by recently. Actually, I was at a different restaurant, and saw the bright colored logo overhead. It was just before 6 PM, which turns out to be happy hour, for both drinks and food. I ordered wine, a shrimp (tempura?) and edamame. Everything was delectable. Definitely going back there. The ambiance if fantastic too. Better than the restaurants in the area. It's in a typical box-style building, but inside, it doesn't have that "box" feel. It has two bars where you can order from and eat at. Sushi could become my new go to meal.

We are a family owned & operated restaurant. We have been serving the Orlando area for the past 20 years. Our guests have become part of our family, so when you enter our restaurant for the first time, you will immediately notice that this is a very friendly, family restaurant where everyone knows your name! Forget the big chains, and come try what REAL italian food tastes like.
Have been happy with Stefano’s in the past, but our latest visit disappointed. Manhattan clam chowder lacked cream and clams. Eggplant Parmesan: breading on the eggplant was soggy and falling off. Tomato gravy (sauce) was salty, peppery, and too acid.
Calamari appetizer was good, lightly breaded and tender, and the fresh baked bread delicious. The special Seafood al Granchio had a generous portion of basa fish, shrimp, scallops and mussels over linguini. Shrimp Parmesan was good. The other diner’s entree was deemed average.
The music was quite loud, something I had not noted in previous visits, and I admit loud music is a pet peeve of mine—I go to restaurants to converse as well as dine. As I left the restaurant I was surprised to see a woman playing the piano on the bar side. I never heard it because of the din of recorded music. Too bad.

The Townhouse has MOVED to 139 N Central Ave, Oviedo, FL ... see you for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner at our new digs !!
Traditions die. It once was a joy to come to the townhouse, now it is just one big hassle. Seven came on a Monday night. Looked busy, but was told 15 minute wait. 30 minutes later, 3 of our group left because of their little children were too far gone to wait to eat. When the remaining 4 of us were finally seated, we were told the special we came for was gone (meatloaf) Ordering a Greek salad instead , was told they were out of potato salad that goes in it. Finally ordered a burger just to get something to eat. The food that came out 45 minutes later was cold.
Over hearing other conversations, everyone there was upset with the place.
Would give a 1 Star rating but moved it to 2 ONLY because of our waitress trying so hard to apologize for our everything.
I’m certain the owners are good people, but they need to decide if they are going to compete. You have loyal customers, but that will only last so long with terrible experiences.
Please decide if you are going to be a player in the growing Oviedo market. If so, staff it and manage it accordingly.
And PLEASE do something about the echoes in the place. BUY a lot of sound deadening panels and get them up on the walls — you can’t hear the person talking next to you. Going home with a headache because of the noise isn’t what we come in for.
We want to continue to love you.

We eat at TJs often and find the food consistently good. The service is excellent and the servers are personable. We especially liked the fried catfish and the shrimp and grits.

We went last week with a group of 14 couples and had a fantastic time. The highlight of our meal was our superb server Delaney. She was perfect: friendly, likable, and super-efficient. She treated us well, kept all of the bills straight and was just generally wonderful.
Our group sampled many items on the menu, and everything came out as ordered and generally at the same time - quite a feat! Everyone was happy with their meals.
I had the salmon and was able to substitute fresh vegetables at no cost. The meal was delicious. My wife had a decent burger, and we shared a pretzel app, which was also quite good.
The Saturday night we visited, there was an excellent 90's rock band who fit in perfectly in the rock themed restaurant. Lots of killer rock memorabilia on the wall, too, as the joint is co-owned by Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons.
All of our dishes and drinks were reasonably priced.

Seated quickly. Slow to follow up with drink order. Back enclosed porch area extremely loud with just a few people in it.
Wife had New England Clam Chowder. I had French onion soup and a salad. Upon delivery was asked and approved a refill on my tea. Wife discovered her soup was cold. Nearly 10 minutes went by before I got my tea and we were able to send the soup back. By then wife didn’t want soup at all so she returned it and asked for a salad. Took about 7 minutes for salad to arrive. So. We both ended up eating at different times at the same table. That salad should have been put in 2 minutes.
Server was polite and did a good job once we were “discovered”. This was likely a kitchen issue but don’t know for sure.
My soup was almost hot. Not over salted. Salad was good. Wife’s salad was good.
Men’s room urinal was repulsive. The toilet paper was empty.

Mike waited on the 9 of us and didn't male a single error. He was fast and efficient. The food was prepared as ordered and was very good. You might thing the prime rib is expensive at 26.95 but considering you get three sides plus $7 dessert it is really worth it. The prime rib was as tender as it could be as were the ribs.
