Agree with several earlier contributors that this is a gem of a Thai restaurant in the
Toledo area. Having a Thai wife, trips all over Thailand, and Thai restaurants all
over the world, Toi (owner) makes the best Pad Thai I've ever had. Said her secret
was the special glass noodles she used. My wife bought 5 packages of those noodles
from her store (attached to restaurant), to bring back to San Diego !!! Can't say enough
good things about our visit. The Express Motel (very clean & well run) is just down the
street. Very handy. I bought my beer just across the street to bring to Toi's place.
Any time we bird the Magee Marsh in NW Ohio we will stay and eat here !!!!!!!!!!!

This bakery sells out of their donuts pretty quickly. The donuts are large and very good quality. They also have good pies, especially the coconut cream. The one thing we have been very disappointed with is their cakes! They are decorated beautifully but the frosting is sickeningly sweet and so much so it detracts from the cake itself. I will never order another cake here but for sure I'll load up on the donuts and pie!

I came here on a busy night with a group of 7. We were seated quickly and taken care of pretty well all night. The menu is huge and the prices were very reasonable. No one in our group was disappointed with their meal, however, the general consensus was the burgers and prime rib were the best. I will gladly come here anytime I'm in the area.

Was not aware of so many different places to eat. The Cafe was the only one open. Was instantly greeted by Cynthia behind the bar. She was a fabulous help with my choices

My Mister and I tried this place today. We arrived around 4:30 and had no problem getting seated. The Hostess was very welcoming and our waitress was nice. We ordered the Blueberry Lemonade and it was quite refreshing! On to our meals- we both had the 1/2 rack of ribs, I had fries and green beans as sides and he had fries with Cole slaw. The ribs arrived with a dry rub on them and the sauces on the table were explained to us. We both found the corn bread muffins to be OutStanding! I really didn't care for any of the sauces and if those ribs had any smoke near them at any time, I'd like to see it. No Smoke Flavor at All! Also, No Smoke Ring! Therefore,I concluded that these ribs are baked with the rub on them. They were tender, but I prefer more bark to mine. My green beans needed some more love but the fries were nice and hot. Ugh! If I only had a Good Sauce, I could have drowned the flavor of that rub! Not a fan.
My Mister, bless his heart, said he's "had better ribs at home."
Great cornbread muffins, Great cocktails, Great service, boring BBQ.

The Café and Patisserie are open for breakfast, lunch and petit four style deserts. The Café is a restaurant with a small bakery inside.
It was our first visit and when we asked our server Kathy for suggestion she suggested the cafe Reuben and it was DELICIOUS!!! The food was wonderful topped only by our service. We will definitely be back for the food and kathy!

I really love the rustic decor of the place. Everything from the license plates to the stuff suspended from the ceiling. Food is okay. Typical American fare. Service is incredible. Not sure the gentleman's name but the guy with a beard is always super friendly. Definitely one of the better places on this end of town. So if you're on this side of town you've got to stop by. Good food, great service, unique and tasteful decor. Great for all ages. They even have games for the kids.

It is one of the restaurants located at the Maumee State Park Resort
I had a fresh, delicious perch sandwich - the portion size was just right though it might be big for some people. This restaurant should be on your list of local places for fresh, tasty and genuine Lake Erie Yellow Perch sandwiches. The sandwich is accompanied with a large portion of french fries that were a good balance between crisp and crunchy.

Toledo's original Brewpub located in The Oliver House.
Amazing historic building. Creative and fun decor. A menu with a wide variety. A quality selection of micro brews. We went on a Friday night and expected a wait. The hostess stated 30 minutes and we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes. All the while 12 tables sat empty due to lack of staffing. Our waitress and meal were great. The turnaround on the food was extensive to say the least.

We ate dinner here on the last evening of our birding trip to the area. We wish we had discovered it earlier. Everything was delicious and our server Dale was friendly and efficient. We will certainly visit again if and when we return to bird here in the future.
